I've been waiting for this since I saw you guys for the first time @ the Knitting Factory. I wanna see you bust out Drum Box again with the old school gear! Yield, San Fransisco Knights, Youth Explosion, and among many others! It's gonna be dope! I also wanna see Giant Panda, they put on such a great live show I was hooked since the first time I saw them with PUTS @ the knitting factory. -

i tried to ticketmaster last night, and it wouldnt make any tickets available ,,, i hope theyre not sold out!!! i will seriously have a sadtrip tonight if im unable to go!

Posts: 384Posted 21 years ago #yo, the projection was dope,. giant panda was also effin dope, oh and PUTS knocked L.A. on our asses tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i think we got at least two or three? new flavored tracks from PUTS, and man, sh!t is still sounding as tight as ever, never fear all the new sh!t is well worth the wait!!!!,,,, Thank you so much for the show tonight Thes and Mike,

Posts: 488Posted 21 years ago #Thanks to everyone who came out! We had a great time, it was fun kind of just messing around on stage and everyone making us feel like it was hit after hit! Damn..you guys are the best. Hearing the whole crowd sing la brought shivers to me.
Special thanks goes out to Kenya Mclaren for editing the videos, Jamie for running the projector and shooting the fills, Big Diesel D for filming, Dirty Mo for the projector hook-up and the GUTS (girls under the stairs) for holding down merch.
Last but definantly not least A giant hand for The Aestetics Crew and Giant Panda for giving us the toughest act to follow. I am honored to be crewed up with some cats that can come out and just rip it like that on the drop of the dime. Blam... sh!t was intense. I hope everyone enjoyed it and we tried to take every request we could from the crowd (time to rock, outrun) those weren't planned

Posts: 92Posted 21 years ago #YES! That show was insane! Last night was the best PUTS show i've ever been to! The crowd was hyped and PUTS was hyped as well! The Aestetics Crew and Giant Panda were also insane. I was real excited to see Giant Panda again and they delivered a great show. Thes singing with the wig on was hilarious! I took a ton of pictures as well. It was dope just getting excited and jumping up and down with the crowd. The freestyle with Thes and Double K on the drums was also another highlight. Thanks for playing a real long set and throwing in some new tracks (which sound dope), and playing some more tracks at the end like outrun. I can't wait for the next PUTS show!

The new tracks sounded great-I especially liked the second track you played; had a great funk sound to it. And did I notice a couple sick remixes there? The looping projections were hilarious. I'd have to say my favorite moment was when the crowd kept the LA song going without the music. Awesome. It was easy to tell that you guys were having a great time onstage.
I got a couple crappy pictures with my phone too. Wont waste your time with em but I think I might have caught stoic and the PUTS in a blurred moment so check it out. I was on the far left of the stage so I think that might be you in the grey beenie stoic.

And only 3 of GP were there, where were Sir Kado and Superbrush? man, I'd love to see GP live, what were their new tracks like? Double K + Thes on the drums looked quality

Posts: 59Posted 21 years ago #Straight up yall!!! The show was amazing! Ive been to all the shows in L.A. but this one was somthing else. Kinda like a PUTS homecoming. The place was packed and goin off like you wouldnt believe
. Big shout to GP for doin your thang. Impressed. Yo after 3 long islands and a couple brews, I was ready to jump on stage and kick a freestyle with Thes n' K on those drums... ay Stoic, you see the bouncer push me back up stairs?!?! woulda been tight but still had a blast.
