Posts: 488Posted 21 years ago #Hands down number one Genesis game is an early joint released by dreamworks entitled Target Earth. I have probably spent 1000+ hours playing TE and the concept always keeps me coming back. in addition to that, the music is fly and it's hard as hell. I also was feeling Sonic (of course) The Alex Kid for genesis was fresh, Eswat, Golden Axe with the homey, Altered Beast of course, Street Fighter Turbo, Toe Jam and Earl for pure comedic factor.. aw man there's so many. But none can hang with stand ups.

I play Halo2 and sadly to say i can crush anyone who stands in my path....If any one plays Halo2 or Splinter Cell chaos theory..Hit me Up on my gamer tag....SECT o5o ONER........ . I played a lot of Streets of Rage, all three versions, Golden Axe was the shhh. Don't forget Zombies Ate My Neighbors for that survivor horror fan in you. Me and my lil brother used to try and beat that game so many times back in the day, I don't think we ever did though. SNES was ill too though,
Secret of Mana, Lord of the Rings, any Mario game, Mystic Ninja, I could go on and on. I have love for both platforms. Anyone ever have the Sega Channel, my old boss at GameStop used to have it, he said it was the coolest thing ever....hmm. -

Posts: 3,618Posted 21 years ago #ah, it's all about the SNES - Final Fight was the best (Streets of Rage copied it ya know) but hey, Mega Drive is cool, except when youre playing street fighter you have to press another button to get between punch and kick, man I lost so many rounds cos of that
Super Mario World classic though, still only got 93 out of 96 on that
got any new arcade cabs Thes? -

Posts: 524Posted 21 years ago #Well the Dreamcast was their last console attempt. It did well upon release, until the PS2 dropped and Sony's already strong following defeated Sega's. One of the major downfalls to the Dreamcast, which by the way is one of my favorite system, I love it!, was that it was very easy to copy and play bootleg games. So all you really had to do was buy the system, download a start-up disc, rent the games, burn em and then have a comprehensive library for next to nothing in terms of $$'s. Sega is still around they are among the top contenders for their games, they are a huge game studio to be reckoned with only a few like EA and Sony/Nintendo can compete, I love Sega titles on the X-box, PS2, and Gamecube. Ahh anyway they're still around.
