Personally, I think this LP knocks the shiz out of Mecca. It has two of my favourite loops of all time (In the House and I Get Physical). Pete Rock perfected his sound RIGHT HERE. Peep it.

I f*cking love skinnyman, he's so funny... I went to a GZA show awhile back and he was like an mcing stand up comedian. At one point some wu-heads were shouting during his set "we want gza, we want gza", and skinnyman was like "hold up hold up, cut the music. This is my time ya get me, gza can waiting his f*ckin turn"... he doesn't take any sh!t... I'm a big fan... F*CK THE HOOK! -

Council estate of mind is sooo classic to me man. He just needs to stop selling weed and make another album! I used to know all the lyrics to f*ck the hook, love that song! He does indeed have a good sense of humour indeed. -

At one point in the show Pete was like yo..I want like 5 seconds silence for my man michael jackson... I was right near Skinnyman, and the dude shouts out.. Man a peodaphile!!! like real loud while everyone's quiet. Then Pete was like awww maaan get that dude out of here!
As for gangstarr.. as always they aint finished til preem says they are but a new album aint gona happen.. and I heard somewhere guru made some comment saying primo is a pop producer. crazy.
Heard Guru's new stuff? haha! the guy is using Auto-tune...... -

I love Jel's work though, his album soft money is absolutely class, sweet cream in it, nice last, all day breakfast, all brilliant tunes. Check out "sweetcreaminit Jel" on youtube, there's a sweet video of him on the MPC... blows all the other beat pad maestros out of the water. -

If you haven''t heard it before, you should check out Y'all so Stupids album called 'Van Full of Pakistans'. And yes that is the actual name of the album! lol. Its quite an underrated album. The title track in particular is very good. -
