Posts: 36Posted 16 years ago #Ahhh, nice. When I read Thes's post mentioning that two of the Carried Away beats were from the Next Step era, I immediately thought of Step Off as one of them. The sample gave off a vibe not dissimilar to Los Angeles Daze.
Anywho, I'd be shocked if it were Down in LA. I strongly suspect that the other one is Creepshow. It's darkish beat and low-key guitar sample calls 4 Everybody to mind. Plus, none of the other tracks (save for maybe 80 Blocks from Silverlake) sound like anything that would fit in as a Next Step track. Ok, I'm done playing Sherlock Holmes now.
