I'm totally cool with whatever reasons they got for not playing cuz it'll be legit, and not some weak a$$ no show bull$hit, but it'd be nice to be officially informed, especially since Stag and Dagger STILL haven't updated their lineup to say they ain't playing.

I agree dude, sure tickets aint xpensive and show would be worth a go if u lived in london, but if u gotta travel in, it gets steep, quick. im gutted, i wud imagine this is a knock on from the P going solo with the store etc, OM are pi$$ed so they pulled the tour. i dont know. im shooting in the dark.

trains or car down, overnight stay (I could probably crash somewhere free tho), food, drink... yep as you say, starts getting steep.
so y'all think thes aint commented on this yet cuz its a label thing? -

Posts: 1,659Posted 16 years ago #I dont know if its a label thing, im just gossiping, until PUTS says/confirms anything its all hearsay. but yeah IMO i think it could have something to do with OM, prehaps theyre reluctant to support a world tour if The P are a) pi$$ed off wid them and b) Thes is opening a store in direct competition to them (which it will be if he sells vinyl, clothes and dont use a label).
I think Thes is going to be making massive waves in the record companys circles, he might inspire a load of up and coming and underground artists to do it themselves and not be exploited by big record companys "agents".
who knows, the store is opening around the 22nd may apparently so i would expect Thes will be on the forum soon to update us and keep us informed, he seems pretty open and honest from what ive seen or heard.

I'm looking forward to seein the store, shame if it OM are getting pi$$y about it & thats the reason, guess we'll jus have to wait for Thes himself to clarify (which is a bit weird cuz he usually comments up straight away on things like this, maybe tied up with all that store stuff as you say tho)

I'm guessing if stag and dagger still haven't taken down the PUTS listings, it's probably something to do with administration on their side. I feel for you guys though, what a bunch of f*cking clowns they are... It's so odd too, cos PUTS are totally different to anyone else who's on the listing. It seemed odd at the time that they were on that bill. I hope you all get your monies back and sh!t...

Ain't happenin with getting back money tho, already checked, no refunds from them, no refunds for cancelled performances (even with the sh!thouse 'ticketplan' cover - which basically only covers you if a family member of yours dies the day before the event and you have to cancel outta grief).
All I can really do is put them up on ebay.
Atleast I got the earlybird price, so if the worst comes to the worst I'm only down £40ish (still a kick in the gut tho esp when im £1400 OD ha)

My guess would be: more of a demand in the states for shows...or they have other personal sh!t goin on. Thes and KK let us know that are coming back to Chi-town on june 4th (tentatively) for a DJ set. -
