One of my friends was visiting from canada, and she bought me a Slew CD from the tour. I like it a lot, it's like a scratched up f*cked up hip hopped muddy waters... It's pretty bangin, i hope he comes to the UK so I can see the show live...

Great show. It was full of energy. If you have an actual copy of the cd I would take care of it. It seems they only printed a handful for the tour. Ninja tune opted to repress and distribute world wide. They're also talkin' about doin' a whole new album.

Nice! I didn't realise they were tour only releases. Kid Koala signed it too... that'll be going in the safe along side my signed Bizarre Ride, and PUTS wax back catalogue... and my 10 year hoodie, ha ha...

word, Slew is a nice change of pace - after saying they were, then weren't, I think they are now planning on touring outside US ..... hells yeah! I think KK also talked about doing a chillout tour too

So do I lose all rights to my beat after I submit it? like would that mean I couldn't use it?

it says in the rules section (sec 9) that all winners are selected at random by Vans?
sounds more like a lottery than a competition - I would have thought thes and kk would select the winners based on the does the best remix?!

Man if people wanna properly see how to remix a P.U.T.S. song, this is probably the best thing I've heard so far.

I don't want to bring the energy or the hype down at all, but it looks like PUTS drew a hater (well, I guess I should say "PUTS drew a Vans hater").

I guess I should respect negative viewpoints when they come along, but give PUTS a break. They've been goin' eleven years now without any big sponsorships or media blitzes, and I don't think that pairing with Vans for a remix contest is selling out. Somehow, you have to WANT to stay underground now and tell any label that wants to work with you to eat a d*ck? Er...

Anyone that was at that show want to leave a comment for this dude?
