Blue Scholars is reppin' hard on the regular and are kind of legends in the 206. My homies (BFA) got their video on the the Blue Scholars blog and I was wondering if you could check them out/critique. Any comments would be dope. Also Thes/Double if you're tryna get in contact with them I could hook that yup (but I know that's quite unlikely).

We do have Pete Philly & Perquisite, who did a joint with Talib Kweli, a couple of years ago (called Hope, dope track)
They use a lot of Jazzy, Soulful influences with violins, saxes.
Conscious Hip-Hop, I guess, but the Pete Philly guy spits in english though.
Apart from that, like 3 guys tops, who are any good, they spit in Dutch though.
I absolutely f*ckin love the Coffee & Snow, Tobacco & Snow Covered Roads 'beef' videos.
But I'm guessing you mean Hi-808, of off that Oof! EP.
It's a dope track, but I prefer the rest of that EP.
I'm very big on Bayani though, that's my joint.
Can't wait for the new album, dropping 2010, right? -

We do got some folks, who def. know their Hip-Hop over here, but unfortunately it's all on a very limted basis, though. -

Yeah I like Pete Philly, chill vibes. Man I'm down for some Dutch rhymes, good flows and beats and I can manage. I was actually talkin' about the Brothers from Another video, but yea man, Hi-808 is a filthy song and video. -
