   In terms of US dnb, the biggest name the US can drop is probably Dieselboy, but we have a 'decent' dnb/jungle scene around here. Definitely not as big or as varied as it could be (i.e UK). But hell, at least it's there

   Listening to Low-End Theory right now... and I just have to say I've heard "Scenario" more times than I can count, but that Phife line about "bust a nut inside your eye to show you where I come from" just floors me every time. It's an example of the perfect amount of creativity in rhyme. No contrived sh*t, but definitely ain't a wack flow. Boom, there it is.

   I've noticed that some of music tastes from my high school days are groups that I would never listen to with my current music tastes, but I still seem to like those groups for some reason...
   
   ...Which is a good thing, in my opinion. I should be listening to things I don't want to listen to so I can keep my mind open. I get worried that I'll turn into a narrow-minded old fart that doesn't look into multiple genres... We'll see...

   for sure sf knight, feelin jack is a dope song, but my favorite tracks from first of all... are def "backstage" and "maan up" (gotta love those newman beats and ta-raach is the sh!t)

    One of my favorites of all time and i have yet to see mmw live. I saw DJ Logic mix a few mmw songs into a set @ Sugar Mom's (i think it was...) in Philly years ago...

    I feel you on the Pink Floyd and Weezer tip. Also, i was a MASSIVE Led-Head in the summer before freshman year, lots of good times air-banding to Song Remains the Same....that's right, I'll admit it on behalf of all you guys.

    Good to see I'm not the only person who got into music through classic rock. Pink Floyd was my favorite band in early high school. I had a dark side of the moon t-shirt back when they weren't in fashion. Now every surbanite white kid with long hair has got one. I'm not trying to say I started it, 'cause that album came out long before I was born, but stil...
    
    Led Zeppelin was awesome too. Hunted down the "Immigrant Song"/"Hey Hey What Can I Do" 7" as one of my first records.
    
    I also grew up in the time where grunge/arena/alternative was heavy. I swear that practically every one of those bands changed their sound to something I didn't like at some point. At least that didn't happen to an inordinate amount of classic rock groups.
