Posted 16 years ago #Not sure if they did High Voltage. I'm kind of sad that they didn't play Axis though.
And yes EarthTraveler, I agree totally. They looked kinda pissed when an audience member yelled it out after one of their songs.
On an unrelated note, they were rockin' some Burn Rubber clothing, I guess it's some Detroit thing. It looked super fresh. -
Posted 16 years ago #So did they seem like decent blokes anyways? I always thought by the swagger of his rhymes that one.be.lo would be a bit short tempered. Did they give it any of the Muslim chat? I'm guessing not, seeing as how Islam ain't the most popular set of beliefs in the US of A at the moment...

Oh yeah they were really cool. I guess One Be Lo wasn't too short tempered, not the chillest cat though. Given all he's been through and all he's done I think he has the right to be a little arrogant and a little short tempered though. He didn't talk about Islam too much, more like religious imagery though, and about jail and how that changed him. -
Posted 16 years ago #What is the story with One.be.lo anyways? I know from "why the caged bird sings" that he was in jail and converted to Islam during that, or shortly afterwards, and i know they got totally f*cked over out of the cash for Waterworld and Masters of the Universe... beyond that I know nothing...

Posted 16 years ago #I know Senim was the son of an Air Force Kid. The two met in Pontiac in high school. Got jailed, I guess after Masters they did their own thing. Touring together from time to time. Really psyched to hear that they're working on new stuff.
