Where did you guys go to school/where are you going? It's that time in my high school career where I have to start thinking about this sh!t and I'm trying to get some people's input.

Posts: 1,659Posted 16 years ago #Well Trench MC, if you ever decide to move to UK(unlikely), then decide to move to Wales(very unlikley), then when your in Wales, decided to move to the small coal mining town of the Rhondda(very very unlikley), then University of Glamorgan is for you. lol. Its where i go and the peeps there are chilled with some good lectures. jus to let u know theres options worldwde, maybe we cud do a sorta unviversity swap for a year, u come to the rhondda n i go to seattle. hahahaha.

Her dad's a bit mental though, as are her 6 brothers (!) they're all farmers, and their all rabid nationalists. Good thing i'm a scot and not a sassenach, otherwise i think i'd be in the sh!t. Big up to my welsh bredran...

As far as what I want to study, probably something like sociology/psychology in college then maybe psychiatry. Working with the human mind sounds dope and I could be a certified medicine man that could prescribe appropriate herbs.
As far as location, as wonderful as Wales sounds, I'm thinking more like Norcal or NYC. -

A) the undergrad tuitions just got jacked up sky-high (there were straight riots at the main UC offices), B) there aren't that many parties over here (I mean, it's college, so you'll definitely find them, but we ain't CSU Chico or anything), C) some of the professors have that "can't bother with my classes and office hours and that sh*t, I've got to do research!" vibe going down, and D) all the girls are shy and there isn't much eye contact happening, so you'll have to find an alternate route to mack-daddy-land.
But, I still liked it.
