Uhh, I Hope Y'all Got Your Sunglasses On Out There (KK mixtape) (verified authentic)
I have the MP3s of this but where did you find a physical copy of this?
waaayyy back in the day Thes had an ebay shop and I *think* there were some copies sold on there... that's def where I think I got my copy from!!
I'm not sure how the Question album went down, but I thought there was only the one picture-sleeve release... they may have ordered up more repressings... I'll have to look in to that.
My LP copy of Questions is a limited edition repress with white label and picture sleeve. I can take a picture if it helps; I can't remember if it was pawned off as an original or not since I got it off the 'bay but now I want to track down an OG copy.
I haven't seen the OG pressing in person but on the interwebs, the one distinction I can tell is the OG has the traditional yellow labels
Aside from the beedi in the spine of the Next Step OG CD press, what other distinctions are there? I'm 99.99% positive I don't have an OG copy but would be on the hunt for one, beedi or not.
I have an OG in my hands and it has yellow labels.

Co-sign.
You want to look for pic cover, yellow labels and the following runout etchings:
Side A: OM036 AGP MPX© [note: the etchings are tiny on this side, to the point of being difficult to make out; it may well be that they were supposed to read "OM036 LPA", but somehow it looks more like the above to me..?]
Side B: OM036 LPB MPX©
Side C: OM036 LPC MPX©
Side D: OM036 LPD MPX©
Holla if you need additional pics or anything.
Happy hunting.
It seems like OM was pretty decent at calling out a repress on their label explicitly when it was the case, which removes part of the guess work.
I haven't seen the Acid Raindrops repress but assume they were consistent.

Here's the barcode for the repress:
Barcode (Text): 6 00353 00361 3
Barcode (String): 600353003613
Does the OG have a different barcode? Discogs is missing this info and it looks like OM catalogs both the OG and repress as OM-036VLP.
The reason I ask is because the picture sleeve doesn't seem to denote it's a repress anywhere - only on the vinyl label it looks like, which might make it tricky, particularly if you are buying a sealed copy.
The barcode is identical on both pressings.
However I just remembered we'd figured out a way to ID even sealed original copies a few years back (see here):
Basically the cover photo on the OG pic sleeve doesn't extend all the way down, so whoever did the graphics must've simply filled in the lower 2 inches or so with a slightly different shade of black. You will probably not be able to make this out in pictures unless they were taken with very good lighting, but there's a horizontal line clearly visibly just above the lower case letters of "People" where said color shift occurs. Apparently the graphics were touched up for the reissue, so that telltale line no longer exists or is barely visible anymore.
I'm sure someone who owns the repress should be able to confirm this for you.
Ah, word - thanks for the tip as well as the pointer to the old thread. I'll upload a photo of my repress photo next week when I'm back home.
BTW, has the image hosting changed on the forum? The images from old threads all appear to be broken.
Made my week to find this the other day:

And getting my tickets for the Oakland show today too!!!
Sweet!
Nice work twelve...I keep meaning to put something on but then get sidetracked by life!
I'll be posting something soon...and yes, it will involve fresh vinyl that I've been holding out for...
Those look really clean! Did your copy of Big Sky Shakedown come like that?
Beer 7" looks in good shape. The glue job on those seemed to suck (at least on mine).
