I see many setups but none compare to what i have and what i can do with it...
I dont use a computer or a keybored....Check IT....>>>>> hehehehe

Hehe, This is my set up. 2 Tables, Mixer, 18 yr old marantz sterophonic reciever, an aiwa tapedeck, and my favorite Roland SP-202.

My sp dont have a sequencer, or touch sensitive pads, or better yet volume controls for each pad, so i use the reciever to change the sound of my drums and samples to make sure they are equalized. IT takes me a long time to make a beat. But i love it. I got loads of records. so im set.

But i got a problem all my beats are on tape, anyone have an idea how i can transfer them to a cd, so then i can load them up to my computer?

i`ve tried loading them through my computer when i bought sound forge, but my sound card is so sh!tty i cant make it sound the way it should, imma try to get a new computer a desk top cuz i got this laptop,

any sugestions? Tape to cd without using a computer?

Ill give you guys a sort of before and during and after look.

During moving things in:

I actually have a lot more records than this,this was during my moving in/organization period. So all the records are not on the shelf. However, since then I am very proud to say that I have cut that amount in half! I have like 1/2 of the expidit open!

Turntables, mixer,etc....

Blah.Since this pic this area has changed as well..

Since this pic I got rid of that big monitor and added some things.

In a couple of weeks I am getting some new equipment, so when that is done. Ill put up the after pics..

yea i can buy some new equipment, but what i got is working for me, all i need is a way to tranferr tape to cd, any equipment out for that? like kinda like the concept of vhs to dvd for videos and sh!t, but tape to cd. ya know what i mean. i gots an sp-1200 on the way and i got a broken mpc i need to fix that, i got no time, cuz i work alot. and dig alot and paint alot with my crew. so any suggestions?

buy a cd recorder.

You can get em cheap now i think.

YOu just plug the tape deck into the in ports and voila!

Cd recorder koo, imma google that right now, hopfully i get my hands on one soon. Hope to hear from ya critisizim (or somthin like dat) from all ya soon.

YOOOO thats where my noonen 12" was...Look under the speaker on the top. Damn good thing i took this pic cuz i was looking for my noonen for a while now.....

Pro Setup?? lets not be too quick to label it as that.. but u doin your thing.. ill post some flicks of my place in a lil bit.. and like everyone says a milluion times and its gettin hella old... "its not the car.. its the drive" aka "its not what you use but how you use it"

when mentioning "pro setup" it was sarcasim, and about the whole thing about its not what you have but how you use it, that concept in my opinoin will never get old, its a way of thinking and looking at certain obstacles and figuring out how to bypass them wether its poverty, school, work, or play...its not what you used to overcome certain things its what how ya ended up..Just because peeps say it or it got "old" dont mean it still can't apply.

ye i figured u were being sarcastic after u went "hehehe" but ye I just said the odl sh!t, cuz so many people say it over and over again to the point where u on a forum and u thinking ... oh not again.. but definetly that right and i agree will always be around.

I got an MPC 2000xl in the closet but the screen is cracked and i need to replace the zip drive, but does anyone know where i can get an extra screen for the mpc 2000 xl that would be a great help....Thanks...
