What up everyone -
I just got off the phone with Thes and got his OK on a new project that I'm really excited to involve all of you in on a very personal level, one that was inspired by the fan meeting in Chicago, which has really motivated everyone to be creative about building community and making all of your voices heard.
With the upcoming retrospective releases, looking back on 10 years of PUTS, there are thousands of fans worldwide, on every continent, who have been touched by PUTS. Everyone on this board has stories to tell - their first PUTS show, getting inspired to make music Hell, no doubt there are funny stories too, I bet we can find people who smoked their first J listening to the P, got so excited they played O.S.T. for their Grandma, lost their...oh wait maybe I don't need to hear about that one.
Bottom line is that we want to hear all these stories from YOU. On camera.
So starting today, start thinking about a response to a very simple open-ended question:
What does PUTS mean to YOU?
I'll be editing your video submissions together myself and uploading the resulting video to the Piecelock70 YouTube channel for the world to see - this is your chance to tell everyone out there what PUTS means to you. PUTS has the most dedicated fans I know, so let's tell the world why. Be clever, be creative, but most importantly be honest.
The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, April 9th - one month from today. Here are the details:
- Anyone who has a webcam on their laptop can participate! You don't need any editing skills or camera knowledge to participate. Higher quality audio and video is always appreciated though.
- Submissions can be in any normal video format/codec (quicktime, AVI, etc.)
- Since video files are too big for email attachments, please upload your file to a file storage server like Divshare or Megaupload and include the link in your email so that I can download the file.
- I'm expecting a lot of participation, so keep your videos at about a minute or so - we want to include everyone we can in the video.

I mean it may sound a little "potheadish" but i love smoking to them and it is a big deal because it helps me really really listen to the lyrics and pay attention to everything being said.. if it is i wont say or show anything but if its not.. then that would be fantastic lol
