Basically I lead a team of people who process applications for kids to go to school.
I 'specialise' in kids with behavioural problems and find places for them where schools' don't want to take them.
It's pretty challenging but good fun.

Until I get my bar results back I'm officially a bum!
Actually, the PUTS show I went to in Sacramento was a week before the test, and I get the results back right before the Thanksgiving show. It's kinda cool that The P is bookending the test.

Ayyyee AGro! I too am a student at OSU, but in Natural Resources. That was the last thing I expected to see in this thread though

I'm an analyst for the state, with way too many different jobs:
I analyze legislation for impacts to the agency
I analyze fraud claims for a special program that gives money back to people who got f***ed over by corporations
I run tech support for two floors of my building
I build webpages
I create forms
I run a charitable campaign in the second half of the year
I do a bunch of other random jobs
... I even worked the voter assistance hotline in the Elections division today (we run the California elections in my building) and told 100 or so people where to go to vote.
Saddest part of all this? I got a degree in Genetics and a masters in Forensic Science (CSI work / lab work), and I keep trying to break into science/forensics, but can't seem to... now my fallback has become my main job, and I've got loans out the *ss to pay back for something I'm not even doing. Grrr. Still applying to science work, but it looks like I'll be a manager here before I'll be scientist elsewhere.

i'm a Seaman (OceanMan- get it?).
i've sailed all over the world... over 200K nautical miles of water under my feet.
i just finished a 2 month drilling job on a 1000 ton, 200 foot barge. nice to have a break.
also, i'm a part owner in a sailing cargo ship that runs cargo from Hawaii to islands in the South Pacific (i spent 7 years on the thing- see photo)

Day Job
I am an IT Operator for a phone company. I monitor systems and application batch jobs as well as handle day to day operations for my company's Data Center.
Night Job (weekends)
I DJ usually at this real cool Bistro/MicroLounge downtown. I play PUTS all the time... I love throwin on beats from 10YRSOFTHESONE and just scratchin over the top.. Other than that, I play, funk, soul, jazz, beats, hip hop, and house. <<<<< my fun job

Damn, kind of makes me feel I have taken a wrong path looking at the jobs you guys do.
I was a writer & deliverer of training for various companies, but after my daughter was born the hours meant I was hardly seeing her. So totally changed path, started a child care business with her mother. Was great, but me and her mother couldn’t make it work so she now has the business & I work for the south west ambulance service in various roles. Cool job but fecking shocking uniform!!!
Did used to DJ but have retired apart from rocking out my lounge a few nights a week
