there is a lot of good hip hop to me.. from Zion i, PUTS, strange fruit, pharcyde, do or die, bone thugs, lupe fiasco, aesop rock, the grouch and eligh, living legends, murs, RPM, souls of mischief, the list could on forever...
but what my main focus is, is the SH!T hip hop which includes:
Lil wayne ( some are catchy for the club i admit, and back in the day he wasn't SO bad, but now he SUCKS)
Gucci mayne- (some songs are catchy once again)
Dont care for young jeezy
new boys
pretty much ANYONE on the radio right now..
nelly is garbage now
Pdiddy is garbage now
akon can't rap (even though some songs are catchy)

i cant even listen to the radio...unless its a college station without getting pissed at the world... -

But let me tell you this. Twenty years down the line, when i'm showing my kids what I listened to, i'm not gonna pull out some random club sh!t, im going to pull out my PUTS records, and show him where the music is.

and Simon, i think aesop has talent, i admit i can't listen to all the songs but have you heard "poems 4 post modern decay" with aesop and zion i? (Well zumbi from zion i) its a sick track and i think its pretty unique.. Love that song. -
