...but i saw a flyer for this over the weekend...had mos def and brother ali confirmed...plus one night some Moroccan group playing...said over 100 artists...looks like most were gonna be hiphop artists...seems like the P needs to make an appearance...
think the dates were like june 16-19 in marquette park

LOTS of politics. seriouslly. The best way to get us on the bill is for all the chicago people to email the festival and demand we get added. They see potential $$$ in ticket sales and we get asked to play. -

Posts: 1,528Posted 16 years ago #It's more of a Muslim type of event so not sure that's the PUTS' cup of tea. I'm assuming based off Mos Def and Brother Ali being confirmed performances, that it will be geared towards that.
I'm sure if the P were to perform, it would open them to more fans but the promoters may want to keep performances Muslim based.
Wouldn't hurt to email them though and find out. -

Man, i wish there were good events like this in Sacramento, I know there are probably some in the bay so hopefully you two will make it down here:) -
