Posts: 2Posted 16 years ago #so i went to the boulder show last night at the fox. i had my vip pass which "entitles you to exclusive party favors at all people under the stairs shows" and nothing happened! does it do anything? -

Posts: 1,427Posted 16 years ago #only has its perks for shows that Om has a merch tent set up...im not exactly sure where puts stands with Om...but thes is making a new label in may...so im guessing the Om days r done....so to answer your question...the VIP pass really aint gonna do much good....i think originally it was going to allow you to purchase the "Beer 45" -

But yeah, i second coming back when Thes's new store is open and possibly bringing that up to him (personal message or email or something). Thes is magnanimous enough to probably be able to either hook you up with something or at least add a surprise if you order something...

Really though, just having a Very Important Partier card is fine by me... In fact I 'd end up buying Thes & KK a drink regardless so...
Just wear it around your neck at the show & watch the fly honies throw themselves at you!
Thes's label opening is right around the Corner y'all!

He said something to the effect that OM records was supposed to supply the "party favors" but dropped the ball on it and that there was nothing for the fans to redeem. Also, since they were handling the tour themselves, it was difficult to have merch at every show (logistically). I think the merch for that leg of the tour was in Toronto.
I'm always one for getting free stuff when I can, but just talking to Thes and Double K was "VIP" enough for me. -
