The scenario: I don't have a stereo system but i can't live without loud music and good bass daily so i was renting my buddies system for the semester. Now the semester is up and hes taking his system back so i was looking hard for a good deal on a good system. This is where it gets incredible. Diggin deep in my basement for a receiver or speakers or anything and i come across my grandfathers phonographic player!! I have just inherited a pioneer fully automatic stereo turntable PL-600 and 3 crates full of gems from the 60's 70's and 80's. My head is still spinning 8-O. This is gotta be what it feels like to win the lottery!

I feel like I dont need drugs. I feel as if this music can take me wherever I want to go. Honestly, I put on that McCoy Tyner and Grant Green, and sat back was taken on a journey. You can feel that man pouring his soul out onto the record, it really is something else. I just wish you guys could've been here.... None of my friends appreciate this sh!t lol. Trench, SLC, all of you cats, get down here to Santa Cruz and hit me up!

i feel you man. At college i met people i can kick it with and just listen to music and appreciate great tunes, but times like now when im home everybody is just listening to the latest look alike layin down weak lyrics on the radio. Its real tuff when theres no one to listen to music with. just last night i was thinkin about how suite for creeper and niggas bleed by notorious are interestingly related yet uniquely different, but i had no one to discuss it with. its just cool to look at how PUTS and BIG tell their stories whether they be life tales like in BIG's case or a detailed mission told by thes one and KK.
once again i feel you Xel, but i say when your listen to that great track, buddah can make it that much better, but to each his own. stay rockin' -
