i know its only been less than a week since my last P show...but super pumped for this 2mrw....OOOHHHH sh!t a pre show BBQ!!!!!

The DJ set was unlike any other puts show ive ever seen. Thes and double were up there playin all kinds of msuic that they wanted...it was as if they were DJ'n a party...good sized dance floor was pumpin all night. They played a number of the original records that were sampled for the funnier than leather mix tape...whicch was my highlight of the set!!! Especially when they played that sample of "aint no stopin us know/spanish" track (which by my description you can tell i need to know more about that track...so if someone knows the sample...please let me know) occasionally theyd grab the mics and go into a P track...but as i rememeber it the 'funier than leather' mixtape was a common theme. They played from midnight til like 2 in the AM...dont have any pics or vids from the show...but if someone does....post up. Was truly a awesome-unique set that im sure i wont see matched again.
highlight of the night: seein' thes makin art on the grill like the man was gettin busy on the mpc!! i can forever say ive BBQ'd with the people under the stairs....stayin true to their lyrics!! haha....thanks for that chicken thes, that sh!t was bomb!!!
anyway, great set!!!
big ups to thes and double for choosing CHI-CITY to do the damn thang!!

...also, big ups to dusty diggin /and co. for hosting the BBQ...sh!t was done in stlye....too bad the hawks lost
oh yeah...that reminds me...while the P was DJ'n thes grabbed the mic and said "Lets go blackhawks"....
