Well guys, I tried my best to get everything together in time but circumstances got in the way.

The first hiccup was New Era legal accusing the P of being a gang, and i didn't help the situation by antagonizing them by reminding them of all the specifically Gang related sh!t they've made like red rag dodger hats and what not.

The second was i had to completely recut 4 of the 5 vinyl discs from the instrumental anthology because they didn't pass my quality control. It took me 5 weeks to get the damn test pressings and then i had to dump em all and start all over.

The third was the DVD ran late on all fronts, editing, post and production.

Ok, so here is the good news:

DVD is in final manufacturing state.
Vinyl is in final manufacturing (assuming the new test pressings come out good)
Beer Mug/MP3 player set is finished
Soft goods are in production.

Do i have a new date, well, I'm hesitant to state one because until everything is in my hands, I don't want to let you guys down again.

I have really really extended myself manufacturing all of this and it seems that at every turn someone needs another $1000 for this or that. I am going to make it through and make sure that everything is something i stand behind. I appreciate all of your patience and i hope all of this stuff makes you excited as it makes me:

1) 10 Year Anniversary Set 2 hour+ DVD live show filmed at the El Rey 10 year anniversary show in HD with 5.1 surround mix by yours truly as well as The Wiz vid, TR@TD Video and a 30 minute doc on the making of the wiz video in Australia.

2) MP3 Player/Beer Mug set in handmade crate with over 75 previously unreleased instrumentals

3) 5 LP set with hardcover book in handmade crate of unreleased instrumentals

HOLY SH*T. Can't wait, Thes. I'll find a way to buy all that stuff, even if I have to bust out the cup-o-noodles and coca-cola for a week or two.

I haven't been in here lately 'cause I'm buying a new house and sh*t's getting thick (wedding's in 20 days too). As you can guess, I'm low on the funding, BUT I have an idea instead: Panacea raised $5,000 on kickstarter.com in a matter of weeks. If you ever want the fans to help build the store or you need some extra money, we've got your back.

Seems you've been working REALLY hard on the development of both the shop and the products (I can't stress enough how excited I am about those! You've really managed to tailor them to our taste. --> beer mug? BANANAS! ) The manufacturing process is something that's simply beyond your control. And having to improve on vinyl test pressings is quite common AFAIK. That's the reason for stamping out a few test copies in the first place, no?
The BS New Era's been giving you is ridiculous of course, but let's face it: They have such a lock on the hat market these days (and you're only looking to produce a limited specialty item) that they probably don't feel they need the business. I'm can totally feel you on them acting like hypocrites, too and would've made the same mistake of pointing the fact out to them. If this doesn't get resolved pronto just take your business elsewhere like Dusty Diggin' suggested on the May 15th thread.
The fundraising concept recently used by Panacea that Sactown mentioned is also a great idea. They exceeded expectations by reaching the $5000 mark in a really short time plus a lot of participants contributed with $50+ in exchange for special limited items. Also being able to pre-order items that way might take a bit of the edge off everyone's (understandable) impatience.

So take all the time you need and do it right.
