   Cali is where its at! beautiful even tho the economy sucks ass and its expensive. Lots of cool places here! the bay is nice. very jam packed vs San Diego but they both coo places.

   Sweetness I forgot, what are you gonna be doing in Cali? Sounds dope regardless. Also I love the Bay Area and Oakland, got some fam up there, it's a cool city, real close to SF, San Jose, Berkeley, better weather than SF is you ask me. Real dope atmosphere all around.

   SO for the second day of this event, could anyone tell me ANYTHING about the people performing besides Al Green, PUTS, nas n damien marley and kings of leon.... I have never heard of any of the others so im wondering if they are any good! can't look em up at work so im just curious

   dont know too much about most of the acts boombip but definitely check out the budos band. i'm just getting into them but they're awesome, funk-based instrumental music.
   mayer hawthorne ive been youtubing, and i gotta say even though his redoing of old motown type sounds is interesting, his music doesnt stand out to me.
   and social distortion is super overrated

   Agree with everything except Mayer. I like the dude, I realize he isn't the most original but idk, I feel his music. Agree with this Social D thing though, Dead Kennedy's would be a better option imo.

   I agree with yah trench, I dig Mayer's style. I think what does it for me is that he wrote all the songs, produced them, & played/sung every part/instrument. That to me speaks true renaissance man... Green eyed love is subtle genius! He basically re-created the music that we all dig for, succesfully too.

    QUESTION FOR FOLKS THAT GO TO THESE TYPE OF SHOWS:
    
    Hey i was just wondering, how fast do tickets sell out? if tickets went on sale today for the concert in SF, how long until you think the day tickets would sell out? roughly? like today? a few days from now? maybe a week? just so i can see where i am at financially for this! they charge 20 extra in fees! ugh

    honestly, typically fests like this dont sell out...ive gone to hella fests and somrtimes people get tix the day of...sometimes its cheaper if u get tix awhile b4 hand.

    if anyone hears of ANY festivals that are big like this or not.. in CA (preferably Norcal) let me know or post em up! i look everywhere and have no idea where to find these shows!
