   So boombip was saying in a thread that she liked the slang me and loudwon were using, so here's the slang thread
   
   I'll start off with some glasgow slang, followed by an explaination...
   
   "awwww nawwww maaaaaan" (said in a nasal accent) - translates directly as "I am disconcerted with the current situation that I find myself within."
   
   "ginger" - a particular scottish delicacy, the drink made with iron girders, irn bru.
   
   "fannybaws" - a man who demonstrates a lack of testicular fortitude
   
   "c*nt" - a word that can be used in nearly any grammatical fashion, as a greeting, a verb, a noun, an adjective, a preposition, a conjunction and even as a replacement for certain punctuation marks, such as a comma or a full stop.
   
   "wee man" - any particular person who the speaker feels superiority over, regardless of height or weight.
   
   "dour" - the default emotional state of glaswegian, sour, depressed and agressive, also see "trippin' over your face".

   Rip/ ripper= a hoe, a nasty girl who will sleep with everyone, dresses trashy. Just a nasty ass female lol.
   
   Ex: Damn, look at those rips walking down the street.
   
   yeeeee: I dont even know how to explain that. Just a term a lot of folks use when their excited bout something.
   
   cool people: Refering to a person that is cool to hang out with or wont start no drama.
   
   Ex: Oh dont trip, she's cool people.
   
   Frisk My girlfriend and her friends use it more, not really a term EVERYONE uses but its spreading lol
   
   It could mean a person that is shady, a situation that is shady(bad), or you could use it for multiple meanings like saying hi to your friend , or in a way where your saying "thats hella f*cked up."
   
   Ex: Hey my frisk what are you doing? Thats hella frisk. He is acting frisk do not kick it with him.
   
   Lol its hard to explain.
   
   and since everyone hates on norcal people for this...
   
   Hella: sure everyone knows this term but it just a way of saying "really" or "a lot" basically.

   There were hella people at the concert. (there were a lot of people at the concert)

   haha, I get hella sh*t from people for using this word too much. My homie and I made a bet on Monday that I couldn't use it for a week... I lost on Tuesday. Hella stupid.
   
   But the bay area has a whole load of slang... from what I gather:

   Scraper: a luxury car, like a Buick or Oldsmobile, usually an older one, often modified by lowering, maybe the muffler has a whistle tip or a suction tip (WOO WOOOOO), gas brake dipping to the beat
   Thizz: Ecstasy, MDMA
   Thizz face: that screwed up face you make when you smell something nasty, like p1ss... comes from the face people on ecstasy make
   Yay, Ya-yo: coke
   
   Oh, go check out "Home Sweet Home" by Nujabes & Substantial, and Sub rattles off a few DC/Maryland slang words. Love that track; sick flutes.

    I can't really think of any slang I use... we have to wait for cool words to filter down from the rest of the country like volvic water... well it'd be Buxton coz we aint French!
    
    My mate "Watts" uses "Jobbies" a lot...
    
    Jobbies: Something or one that is rubbish... usually used to desribe a football team...
