Kicking off this thread for anyone who's been away for a minute from this dope forum, and wants to check in personally on what's been happenin' in our lives, and perhaps the devoted cats up in here such as SacTown can give us updates on PUTS, what's been trending throughout these threads, AND OF COURSE, what's been going on wit ya selves.

Quick intro: OneNationUnderaGroov joined with y'all through this forum a few months ago. Was active for the first month or so, but sad to say I've been drifting away as my schooling's been consuming most of my time. Dealing with Statistics, Economics, & all that fun stuff X-D. I started off this year by treating myself to check a bit of the East Coast for the first time. Big Apple, Philly, & a bit of New Jersey was great, but 'effin cold. Either way, was still peepin' through this forum here & there.

Anyhow, how's everyone been doing? And what's good with this new Purple Junk Drawer Vol. 1 Wax?

Hey, everyone:

I've been away for quite a bit longer than a minute (6 months?!?! Holy crap.), but I hope to make it back on here a bit more. Just caught up in life in general.

My office work picked up, and I also tried to get a better position that didn't pan out. Especially hurt that I thought I destroyed the interview, then lost out on the position to someone that had 8 months of experience (to my 10 years). Ouch. Still trying though...

On the home side, I was trying to spend a bit more time with the wife than before, and when we weren't together, I was watching a TON of movies (it's my other hobby besides the P). I think I've seen upwards of 2,000 movies in the past 7 years.

I still talk with Thes a bit (once a month), I usually hang with them at every show in the area, and you guys can always find me at "pmuny" on Instagram (not everything is P-related though, and I usually post daily).

I'll try to be on here a bit more often, definitely!

Well it's been a while since I posted but I've been dropping in from time to time to see what's been going down. So much has been happening this year but the biggest deal has been getting married!! Me & my girlfriend did the deal at the end of August & then headed off to Rome & Greece for our honeymoon. Other than that it's been work work work. Really looking forward to the next P joint & even when I'm not posting I'm still looking. Stay frosty forum. Peace.

Nice!! Congratulations, homie! Hope you guys have an amazing life together. I remember how hard it was going back to work after the honeymoon; bet you wish you coulda stayed in Rome & Greece, haha.

Glad to have you back Sac! I've been around here and there, but it's just not the same without you. Way too quiet.

Big news here is that my wife and I are having a baby girl in March. So there's gonna be a brand new P fan in the mix here soon. The baby is just now developing her ear drums so I'm gonna start playing music for her - and you know she's gonna be bouncin' to PUTS in there. Have some other Jazz and Classical lined up as well. Anyone out there done this before and have some good recommendations?

Marriages, babies... man... Good to see P fans enjoying life. My wife and I have been trying for a little while ourselves. No Baby Sactown yet, but one-a these days.

Play some free jazz (Ornette Coleman) or some math rock or Stereolab or something and get that baby thinking in abstractions. We need more thinking outside of the box nowadays!

Sac my Man: Your presence here is so strong that it didn't even feel like you were completely MIA. All in all, really glad to know you're staying positive with everything you've been encountering.Your positive energy is strongly appreciated via this forum.

De La Tribe. Congrats. Babies change the music! Can't listen to Geto Boys, Project Pat, Schoolly D etc with all that cussing!!

We have Saturday and Sunday music mornings instead of TV. Its jazz, funk, motown, Northern soul all the way. Give them a taste of quality before they become saturated with mindless pop pap.

I've been busy doing my final lectures, coursework, case study, experience records and exam revision while working full time. Soon to be an architect in about 3 months... sh!t takes years but I'll be there soon!

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. Especially because I also listen to a lot of punk rock. And there's no way I'm giving it all up. So I'm not sure how much censoring I'll be doing, haven't decided. A few swear words can't hurt, right!? (And she'll hear it from me anyway). If anything I'll censor top 40 bullshizzle.

Love the idea of music mornings though. I'm definitely stealing that one.

Well it has been a good 6 or 7 years since I posted on this site. Damn time flies!! I've mainly been mucking around on remote tropical islands teaching people to dive for those last few years, often with a serious lack of internet availability, hence me becoming slack on the forum!! I'm back for the moment, at least until I find a way to escape reality once again and venture overseas. Can't wait for some new PUTS, been bumping 12SP a lot recently. Peace yall!

Thanks to all the forum heads for the congratulations, it was a brilliant day. Really good to hear everyone else's news, seems we've all been busy boys & girls. Even though I don't post too much I'm always logging in to check out the different threads.

Looking forward to the new LP
