Ooh, that's nice!
Vinyl and or cd available??
This is going to get played A LOT!
I don't do good reviews, but, for me it's what a proper hip hop album should be. Great flows, solid beats, crisp cuts and edits.
I went to band camp and the first tune I listened to was "no other than" and the purchase was never in doubt. A total banger. phil most chill's flow is excellent.
It clearly takes from the old school (I reckon there's probably a sizeable market for blokes of my age - and for young cats who weren't lucky enough to be there the first time round).
Think EPMD meets RA the Rugged Man (but cleaner) and you're somewhere there...
^^ If you've only just discovered Phill you're in for some treats once you begin checking the rest of his work..! It's not just the raps - his tapes, illustrations, etc. are on a whole 'nother level as well:

And don't forget his amazing album with DJ Format - The Foremost
Will explore once back from holidays!
I told my wife that the album has got me to write rhymes again. She's been bugging me to get back into recording tracks for about 3 years now....
Who else have I slept on????

Think someone mentioned this dude a while back, but can't remember. But this is probably my favorite hip-hop album of the year (until The Getting' Off Stage comes out at least):

This gave me an idea, though I have no idea how to pull it off (and feel free to tell me this is stupid as sh!t, I won't be offended). Maybe us forum cats could put together a beat, and everybody could throw in a rhyme or two. Something just for us, not trying to get it actually put out or anything, but just a tribute to The P.
Maybe something similar to Jonwayne's DOOM mix:
hey cats...
any of you North America guys get your Fabreeze bundles yet?
this wait is killing me.

I think this idea is cool De La Tribe. I can't rhyme for sh!t. but used to make beats so would be happy to input.
A group called 'The Impossebulls' started in exactly the same way. On a Public Enemy forum back in the day. they have some quality music (some featuring Chuck D) and have even opened/supported PE live. so who knows what’s possible.
PS. In case you don’t know ‘the impossebulls’ back catalogue of music is all free to download. Well worth a listen, I pump them, often
