"Is he f***ing dead?" "What do you mean is he f**king dead?" I recognize that from somewhere...

Looks like it'll be on iTunes in about a week. Good news for us Apple Music users. Still bought the CD and Tape to support The P.

I'm putting a wager on Ste. for Superheroes and/or Graffiti on a High School Wall in the setlist tonight.

Been caught up in work all morning, but I finally got a chance to give TGOS2 a go, and it's amazing. Like everyone else here, I'm going to have to give the headphone test, the car test, the vinyl test (eventually), and the stage test (tonight in Santa Cruz!), but so far, it's sounds like fire to me! This EP has got that groove to it, and the lyrics are fresh!

No sign of any vinyl as yet though...
Just to clarify this is in no way a criticism of the hardest working man in the music industry.
Just a comment - as there's nothing more I love than dropping the needle on some sweet new wax...especially when it's from the P!
No worries, bro - I caught myself thinking the very same thing earlier...
The more I think about it the instant free DL is a blessing though as I probably wouldn't have heard the new joints for weeks/months otherwise, saving my first listen for when the wax arrived...There's nothing to be done about ~4+ months lead time @ pressing plants these days, plus I understand Thes was busy fine-tuning the new joints until the very last minute. And they DO sound crazy dope!!
I'm looking forward to seeing some fresh new artwork once the wax is ready btw. Plus the cassette version of TGOS #1&2 has me wondering what's gonna be on the B-side of (I assume) the 2nd tape? Selected instrumentals..? Bonus tracks..?? -

Just listened to the instrumentals for 1 & 2... a musical journey

I was heartbroken when I saw that the vinyl was "Sold Out"... Glad I didn't miss the bus! Scooped everything I could, now I have to decide if I want to wait for the vinyl release for the first listen. Decisions, decisions, decisions! Pump it up y'all!

Decision made...I'm waiting.
I understand the modern way and can see it's benefits, but nothing beats vinyl for me, and the joy that goes with it. I will however spread the word and forward on the Piecelock 70 email with download to people I know.
I'll have to try and blank out all the comments about how good it is from you lot though...enjoy!

I wonder of record store day has anything to do with the vinyl dropping later. (assuming the u.s. has the same date as the U.K.
Mr Tibbs, I congratulate you on your inner strength.
I don't have the same this time round so I'll be bumping it in the car this morning. -

Had a quick listen last night while cooking dinner although I'm getting ready for a proper headphones in session at work today. Sounds like a sonic journey already though. Roll on the vinyl.

Wow - sonically this is immense. Really intricate and 'musical' for a hip hop album- would definitely agree with DJ Day that this is pushing boundaries (actually sounds like a Day record in texture and vibe!). Thes surprises me with every release - definitely listen with headphones!!!
Opener is radical. Overall more serious/less party than Part 1.
Triple mix on Ste for Superheroes is dope. The P music industry critical piss take... hilarious!
One listen in though so will have to come back later with more thoughts...

the rap superheroes save the game again!! such a thorough and complete album, it's a hip hop blessing to my ears, especially with headphones on.
I'm especially diggin "Nightrunners" and "Ste. For Superheroes" but each listen gets better and better...
"the lighting of the flame that'll burn throughout the game..."
