Our dear friend Patrick aka Sactown Connection passed away today. Even though I never physically met him, I will miss him tremendously. I feel honored to have known him and am deeply saddened that I could not have done more to help him. I just wish this wasn't true.

I know I rarely comment on here, but I peruse through these forums often, and a large part of it was because of whatever Sactown had to say. I never knew the man, but as one of the newer heads who joined this force, I do recall him welcoming me on here with nothing but that P-love. I didn't expect that, and yet it was felt so genuinely.
He was so vocal about his knowledge through here, but never came off as arrogant. Rather he was very inclusive and inviting. In all, he caught my attn enough as an older cat who was a die hard fan of the P, and I jsut felt like I was being taken under that wing through here as Ive grown to love the P as much also. That's when I decided to follow him on IG; his posts were so down to earth. It was nice to get to know a fellow PUTS lover's interests, joys, and wisdom outside of here. Seeing Thes' IG post earlier bugged me out.
Unfortunately, I didn't have the privilege of being able to catch him at one of the P shows (though I swear I seen him when I was backstage with PUTS one time). I don't know what's going on nor should I pry, but I can say he will be very deeply missed, and I just really feel the lost, man. Sactown, aka P-Muny, aka Patrick, the P force sends you off with lots of love...

Posts: 394Posted 10 years ago #Exactly.....the guy was so nice and inviting when i first got into them, it seemed like a great fan community with really nice people. He got me and a friend wristbands to get into the aftershow party at one of the Thanksgiveback shows and he pretty much only barely knew me through instagram and on here. Really nice and by all accounts brilliant guy. Sucks so bad the bad thoughts got to him and he's gone.....R.I.P. Sac

But via here, insta & e-mail chatted quite alot. Such a gentleman. Genuine caring dude who did a lot of things to make others happy. Words are actually failing me. My thoughts and love with his family.

Posts: 340Posted 10 years ago #It's incredibly sad when life ends in this way. Sac was was heart and soul of this place. A genuine good bloke. Some of his insta posts suggested he was having dark days but this is shocking.
I remember when I first came on here, he was really welcoming and friendly and clearly wanted to share the love and joy for the things he enjoyed.
R.I.P sac, my thought go out to his family and loved ones.
Everyone else, look after yourselves and your friends and family. -

Posts: 81Posted 10 years ago #Terrible news, one large reason why I keep coming back to this forum is to read Sactown's input on all things People Under the Stairs. He was a knowledgeable person but beyond that, he was down to Earth and approachable. I am truly glad that, even though I have never met pmuny, I was able to connect with him through this forum. You will be sorely missed by everyone here pmuny.

Like so many people I never met the guy but through this forum & other social media we had connected. Such a sad day, he will always be remembered on this forum & if anyone can send my love & condolences to his family please do. A true fan of music & The P. He will be missed :(
