   I was able to snag the WTPE vinyl and a grey hat. Purchased right when the site went up. Amazing how fast these items sold out! The beanie will be going to my younger brother (big PUTS fan) for Christmas.

   Good on Thes for donating to the AFPS with every purchase. When I was in the checkout I almost forgot to add the promo code, luckily I looked things over very quickly before hitting purchase. I am excited to hear the sound check mix that Pmuny put together. The Flexidisk looks really beautiful, happy to see that Pmuny still lives on.

   Got everything I was after - can't wait to drop the needle on those splattered vinyls.

   The hook up with PL70 is probably the best thing to happen in the music world this year if you ask me.

   We have to applaud the effort Thes continues to put in for us all...he really is the man.

   My copy of Where The Piecelock Ends arrived from Redef today. I wasn't expecting it so soon!!

   Super nice vinyl, totally clear with orange splatter. Man the beats on this just blow me away. Its gotta be up there in my top 3 instrumental beat tapes/albums ever I'd say.

   Also got a black flexidisc too. The track on it is real nice. Pmuny did a great job.

   My PL70 package arrived with the Triple Digits EP and blue flexi. Still waiting on my redef order with WTPLE.

   I'm assuming we'll get the email notice when the store restocks...

   I'd wager Thes has all his (creative) energies tied up in the Chem70 (= Chemistry Surfboards & Piecelock70) store project (previously mentioned here) atm as they're having a big opening night/party this weekend with free beer, tacos, giveaways etc. for those able to attend...

   Absolutely certain he will get a fresh batch of hats, beanies and other goodies in the store as soon as possible though. If anything should happen to pop up sooner than expected I'll try and give y'all a heads up, too.

   How was the Chem70 opening? Place looked packed in the few seconds of footage on instagram.

    it was hella packed! good times, it was mostly a friends and family type of environment. thes made a quick speech about how they came about to create Chem 70 and their philosophy of being 100% independent everything hand made. they raffled off some gear and a lucky winner got the acid raindrop surfboard.

    according to thes, the store needs more work. they were literally working right up until the opening. i am excited for what the Chem 70 collective will bring. I was lucky enough to grab the acid raindrop, I am into surfing now and definitely getting my next board at Chem!
    saw some wax they had a bunch of step 1 copies left, nothing of step 2, maybe a few WTPE, a few Highlighter, and handful of 12SP.

    Nice! I'm going to try and head into the store in the next few weeks. Have a couple Highlighters already but those are becoming harder to come by these days.

    I know this might be a long shot, but does anyone have an extra flexi disc for sale? I’m trying to find both blue and black flexi’s, but I’ll be happy to just find one. I didn't see Thes's email until the next day, so I was completely unaware of the release. I’ll pay whatever, Pat was a good friend and I’m desperate to get them.

    Does anyone else have a problem with the flexi disc not fitting onto the spindle of the turntable? Or is it just my copy? I don't wanna force it as I certainly don't want to damage the flexi.

    You needn't worry about damaging the Flexi, Treks - it's certainly not going to tear or anything. The plastic these things are made of is so durable and elastic I can't think of anything less than a pair of scissors or a needle/stylus with brute force/excessive weight applied that'd cut into it. (Remember, these things used to be included in magazines, cereal boxes, etc. - they're pretty much designed to take a certain amount of abuse without problems.)

    Simply place the center hole on top of the spindle and gently push down. I've done this with nearly every single (new) flexi I've ever owned, plus the odd record and you can't really muck it up. One additional little trick I can share however is doing it with your knuckles, letting the spindle slip between your fingers: this allows good control AND cuts down on undesirable finger prints.

    Now get to playing that bad boy!!
