I LOVE the Roots, they can do no wrong in my eyes and I can't wait for Undun - concept sounds great and if anyone can pull it off they can. I'm feeling this new track too - the beat switch half way through is beautiful.

Me to man.....How i got over was a great album and like you i am really liking the concept. As the interview said it's allowing them to explore different musical types. Yes the beat switch is as you say......beautiful

I think I might've heard that Bin Laden track he did with KRS One, actually... hmmm... I also noticed on Wikipedia that Chino is Bernie Worrel's nephew? D*mn, I can't even imagine being related to one of the guys from the whole P-Funk family...

Personally, I'm not into their rhymes and the subject matters that they can't seem to get off from. Too angry too. Beats are also mediocre. Not funky enough for me.

Nicest beat Premo's turned out for some time now IMO. Hope they can talk Fat Beats into pressing um a 12", possible with the Large Pro track on the flip.

He puts on a DOPE show, I would recommend seeing him. He definitely knew how to get the crowd hyped and sh!t, the show almost felt militant in a way (think Public Enemy-ish fight the power type sh!t). I haven't listened to any of his sh!t after Revolutionary Vol 2 though... I wonder if it's worth checking out.
Vol 1 and 2 were classic though.

Been listening to (odd for me) N*E*R*D*, not my usual stuff but picked up a greatest hits for nearly free so giving it a listen.

Finally recieved the Greneberg picture disc today (with a big package of other goodies to help tide me over 'til the Highlighter vinyl) but will have to exchange it as the plastic sleeve it comes in is torn in 3 different places.
I know the material ain't too great to begin with but I ain't settling for this...
