C'mon guys, we're ALL super excited about the new record, but I see this type of question everywhere on social media etc. all the time as well.
It's not like there's some big conspiracy afoot to keep these things secret and you'll suddenly be included and taught the secret handshake (whoops, scratch that, i've already said too much...
) just for asking. Keep your eyes and ears open, follow Thes on IG if you aren't already (I'm well aware not everyone uses these things) and you'll hear about any new developments as soon as they occur.(Sorry, FNO, I don't mean you personally. It absolutely baffles though me that some self-proclaimed (super)fans apparently can't be bothered to try and keep up with the most obvious sources of information and/or expend 30s on a quick google query nowadays.

(I don't imagine there will be any preorders and I think that's perfectly fine with me, too. Preordering stuff doesn't guarantee one receives the items in question significantly faster after all, it often merely accelerates the timeline guaranteeing that one has to buy/pay that much sooner without having anything but ones "reservation" to show for it...

Just to have them gather dust sitting on your mantle as trophies/for bragging rights..? As "investments"?
Trust me: it's a lot more fun (as well as financially sensible) to buy the #/type of media you will actually play.
And being one of the longtime vinyl fiends on here I'd strongly advocate the purchase of a record player as well... (As long as it's not a Crosley or anything of that variety.
You should easily be able to find lots of decent used turntables for small money, whether you're just looking to listen or DJ.)
In fact why don't you spend the money you had earmarked for doubles of everything towards that record player instead..?

For me it's just because I'm a collector and some music I like to have in mint condition.

It's a happy day. And one with choices!
There will, of course, need to be a separate thread to discuss the music away from Mr Tibbs......who will of course be waiting for the physical media.I must say that although the majority of my listening is FLAC/WAV/MP3 (and cd - the new old school) I'll cop a record as I do still enjoy occasionally - when the family are out - removing the dust cover off the turntable and playing the record!!
