   It was my wife's first...and sadly last ever P gig...but she enjoyed it...especially taking the photos!

   I even got her a seat...

   And then this...a journey that started in the summer of 2000 came to an end when I finally got to say thanks to an absolute living legend (check out my crazy eyes!).

   He's given us all so much...all we can do is wish him the best for life after the P...Forever the P...Forever the P...

    One thing I forgot to mention from the last show. Right at the end Thes did a verse over the top of Labi Siffre (the second half of the track with the Slim Shady breakdown). It was pretty autobiographical, talking about growing up at school, family and getting into rap. I can't remember it all but it felt pretty deep and may well make an appearance on Sincerely The P.

    Double K and Thes were also singing along to the song, making note of the lyrics. It was poignant

    "Morning comes, the sun don't shine, I'll get by without you... Just a lonely soul, slowly dying. I was smiling hard but I was lying "

    Additional random fact - I just noticed that Chas and Dave played guitar and bass on this track! I never realised until Chas Hodges died recently that they were immense session musicians, not just a comedy cockney music double act.
