Posts: 59Posted 15 years ago #The opener of Part 3 is a soul singer by the name of Donny Hathaway...I'm about 90% sure. I couldn't find "get high" or the other tracks, but I recognized his voice from one of his live albums that I have.

Posts: 1Posted 14 years ago #Yeah, the first track is really kind of mysterious. But it's so perfect and also obvious that Thes used it for "Talkin back to the streets" on Highlighter. But what is it? Sounds like a bay area combo but the exact release date is hard to define. Could be late 1970s, early 1980s or also contemporary. Can somebody help on this?

I researched the 1st track, Loscon was SO SO close, I youtubed the sampled version of the song, read all the comments and someone posted the original song...
