I was off on friday, phoned in sick and then went through to edinburgh to see the girlfriend. Don't have any annual leave days left...Get up to anything on the weekend? I went to see the Cuban Bros friday night, pretty good laugh, very silly though. They did a cover of Trippin at the Disco though, which was class. Only me and one other guy in the place knew what it was, we were going f*cking nuts!

I never thought of other artists doing covers of PUTS tracks, cool.I didn't do much, pretty chilled weekend.

Yeah that was me. Haven't been paid yet though, c*nts. I didn't even get to go to the tropical island, it was blue screen work down in surrey. F*ckers.
Yeah cuban bros were funny. They just take the p1ss out of the audience, and do some breakdancing and singing and sh!t. Thing is, they're middle-aged overweight scotsmen with terrible fake cuban accents, but they are top notch singers dancers and MCs, so it works.
Festival is almost over, one last big blow out for me and the gang, then it's back to normal edinburgh, dour weather and dour people.

To be honest I'm almost looking forward to winter. I quite like wrapping up against the cold and hitting some hillwalking. A crisp winters day is beautiful in a unique way.

Posts: 1,415Posted 16 years ago #We're getting isolated incidents of flooding, like big puddles but once its stopped raining they tend to drain away to a smaller puddle. Right now out the window I can see blue sky and numerous coloured clouds.
So its a bit of a mix.Ooooh loads of blue sky now!
We had a massive rainbow the other day.
Man rainbows are crazy arent they?!How does light reflecting of small abouts of rain do that?!!
Prism effect and things!The winter is good coz its got character and atmosphere, but getting up in the morning when its cold and grey isnt nice.
Need that vitamin D!

Then getting home getting warm and watching a good 80's film.
