   I'm looking for some good electronica, often times with some catchy hooks, maybe some light drum sounds. Something that I can read/fall asleep too. Suggestions?

   use soundclound and search for "ambient jungle", caerful tho, coz sum chillout is too laid back and gets boring....

   sum of my electronic go toos are; Burial, Alaska & Paradox (drumfunk d'n'b), the mushroom jazz compilations, the KM5 compilations, Massive Attack, kruder&doorfmeister, Nightmares On Wax, Mr Scruff, DJ Shadow, MGMT, Bent, Morcheeba...

   you will find, as i did, that once you hear one artist youll discover the sort of sound you like and dig deeper and explore what you like, but defo get on soundcloud and have a play around n search, its free which helps.

   Check out the 'Motion' and 'Everyday' LPs by The Cinematic Orchestra (on Ninja Tune).

   Also look for 'Pause' and 'Rounds' by Four Tet.

   I quite like me a bit of "Klute" , the album "the emperors new clothes". Nice ambient DnB. Dunno if it's any good for falling asleep to though... oooh blockhead is good for chillin tunes to read to as well...

   One of the first Dnb tunes I brought was Klute 'Curley wurley' on Metalheadz.
   He made some nice smooth dnb.

   As Mambo said Mr Scruff.
   Trouser Jazz, some really good tracks on that album.

   I find it really difficult to read and listen to music at the same time especially if the music has lyrics.
   I can't read and listen!

   I like dark sh1t to listen to when I'm reading, usually cos I'm reading dark literature. Stuff like Mr Scruff is too happy for me

    cheers man, did a bit of reasearch and his music in solid form (ie, CD, Vinyl and his recent "mixtape" which is actually on a tape :-D) is as rare as rocking horse sh!t, ive got like £10 worth of free downloads on amazon so ima download sum of his stuff, any tracks that are "must haves?"
