What are some important hip-hop culture areas in L.A.? Since I'm not from L.A., I'm looking for neighborhoods, streets or intersections that are important to graffiti artists, diggers, etc.

Posts: 588Posted 13 years ago #Hmm... so many places are now long gone, but Homeland in Long Beach is still up and running. That's the bboy headquarters of the world today in my mind. Every Monday and Tuesday night it's open for bboyin, poppin, and lockin with free lockin classes on Monday. There's also graff going on outside the building and you can do your own thing if you get permission. The place is run by Iceman who is a member of the Westcoast Rocksteady Crew.
