So hey, can anyone point me in the direction of a music mix that's good to listen to while you're stoned? I'm looking for a down-tempo, hip hopish vibe. I LOVE the mushroom jazz series and have them all, and the more similar they are to mushroom jazz the better haha. Thanks guys, peace for now.

Dunno where I got it from, downloaded it somewhere. I'll post it up for you if you can't find it...
Got an awesome mix by DJ Food and Coldcut which is mad chill too, I can't remember what it's called though. Will look it up tonight.

Mate, i was gonna post up the same thing, im running low on tunes when toking, need a new album to put on regular, a sort of go to!
Ive said this in previous threads but Kruder and Doorfmeister: The K&D Sessions is my favourite.
DJ Krush: Ki-Oku is a rather good one aswell, if not just for this classy cover
Boards Of Canada are damn good and can play with the mind a little, Campfire Headphase is the album of choice for me. Although you said you were looking for something more hip-hopish so maybe not your taste
And on a final note, Nightmares on Wax must have a mention, probs smokers delight for stoner needs, lol.
DoDo, if you could post that link up i wuld really appreciate it, Skate, check soundcloud for loadsa mixes aswell, jus search downtempo of summat!

I'll have a look and see if I can find it, but if not I'll just mediafire it or some sh1t. It was available for download awhile back so I don't see a problem with that...
it looks like they've taken the mix down now, or the file share has run out. I'll get it uploaded with a couple other chill mixes I've downloaded and make a mediafire ting, and post it up in the members section, ya heard!
If it was anyone else I wouldn't bother, but cos it's my PUTS brethren, I'm on that sh1t!!!

try Pantha Du Prince when ur stoned..OM's Downtempo garden is great...and throw some Ticklah and maybe Tortoise in there too..boom!
Forgot to mention Jazz One - Sublime ( all tapes ) and please do remember that there was like 20 Mushroom Jazz mixtapes before those six commercial CDs. They are great as well and some rank above the commercial ones. Mushroom Jazz 20,17 and 13 are great for example!

WOW! Thats some gooodmusic right there, love the nathan fake track, is all his stuff in a similar vein? I really should get a madlib album, im nt that familiar with his stuff though, any recomendations to 1st album? i like the shades of blue track.

man just get the shades of blue album, it's class. And get the album of the original tracks too so you can see how he messed around with em. I've got the original album, I think it was brought out post shades of blue, it's just all the same tracks, can't remember what it's called and can't find the info on teh interw3bs either...

Id probably say shades of blue if you like Jazz Hop, but my favorite stoner album of all time has to be The Unseen.
