I've been thinking about my top 5 albums and I still can't make up my mind a week after this was posted. It's too hard. Sactown's idea of the best 5 albums of the past 5 years sounds more doable and like a great idea.

Id say something along the lines of this.
Wu tang - 36 chambers (can say after 10 years of listening to this that i can still put it and love every second of it)
PUTS - OST/Question
Rubberoom - Architechnoligy (never heard anything quite as amazin as this album, the beats and rhymes just go together like shower caps and slick dudes. ha)
Fugees - the score ??
Aesop rock - Labor days (recently iv been loving this) -

36 Chambers is a classic album, but I couldn't listen to it on repeat. Same with The Score (which has a few weak tracks tbh). Labor Days is a good album, haven't listened to it in a while though
