So here’s the deal – You come up with a killer 3 color design, and we’ll throw it up on a skate deck and t-shirt. Listen to the song for inspiration and try to come up with your best Acid Raindrops idea. Throw it our way and get your design immortalized in wood and cloth! Oh, and the winner is going to get to fly to LA to hang with us for a whole day in the studio while we work on the new album! We’ve met so many talented cats out there, cant wait to see the designs!

Oh gosh..maybe I should learn some Illustrator....the winner shall receive:

I have a brain that can create wonderful sh*t, and I can imagine some severely next-level graphics, but the execution of any ideas I may have always falls about as flat as 7-year old beer.

Hey guys just to clear the air,
They gave an .ai file for a reason. They want you to use PMS colors. If you do it in Photoshop your gonna have to make three channels with the PMS colors and if you use any shading or drop shadows you are going to have to make them whatever PMS color it is that corresponds with that channel. Then turn your shading/shadows into halftone patterns... then turn it into a bitmap to preserve your shading which is all quit difficult for the printer to handle.
They gave you an Illustrator file because they want VECTOR art. Remember also this is gonna be screen-printed on T-shirts what screen printer do you know accepts Photoshop files... other than digital?
Hope this helps you guys. (I'm a production designer... I do this everyday.)
