   Just 'cause we seem to be making a lot of lists and youtube collections lately: give me some good hip-hop tracks about love.

   Criteria:
   • Keep it real: No corny sh*t
   • Keep it serious: No goofy sh*t
   • Keep it clean: No rhymes exclusively devoted to sex
   • Keep it hip-hop: Barry White has to go sit on the bench for a while.
   • Keep it smooth: 'Nuff said

   I especially want to hear from boom bip on this: what track do you want a man to play for you?

   hmm, so do you want a love song sung by a man? or what. I liked the sexual love songs when they aren't hella dirty like now.. but i know a lot of CLEAN love songs as well.. but man i hate being at work i cant see what you guys are posting :(

   i dont know as many hip hop love songs as i do r&b love songs.. but one song i really really love is Zion I "next to u" beautiful song. not my "fav" love song, but its a hip hop one that i really like.

   oh, it doesn't have to have a vid. you guys can just post the name/artist if you want. it'll give me something to dig up and listen to (which is more rewarding than youtube in this age of instant online gratification )

   Man or woman, either one is cool...

   I'd be cool with hearing about the "making love" kinds of sexual tracks, 'cause love is at the heart of those... it's just when you start getting to things like "Lick the P*ssy" by Beatnuts or "Gimme Head" by E-40 (both good tracks in their own right)... at that point, I know that the first thing on a homie's mind isn't flowers and romantic dinners; it's something completely different... don't get me wrong, that stuff is important too; we all need to give/get some sometimes... (and sometimes I just wanna get a lady in bed and lock that sh*t down like a nuke shelter after WW III... you know, dare the woman to get out alive and still able to walk without a wheelchair) , but I was looking for some music to get a lady in the love mood more than anything...

   And +1 about not seeing things at work... it sucks... I have to re-read everything when I get home to see what I was missing.

   Yeah, I think I'm of the mind that nothing really beats R&B for love songs, 'cause almost the whole genre is dedicated to love (or the loss thereof), and that's what I usually put on (my wife digs it too)... but sometimes, I wanna see if I can't get my beat fix and my love fix simultaneously.

   ooo i love the song "never been in love" by Talib.. its not exactly one youd play in the bedroom but its a good song :-p
