A little something to tide everyone over until the new album comes out:

Our good friend Odub who writes the music blog soul-sides.com and occasionally contributes to the LA Times and NPR, sat down with Thes for an hour-long interview - tons of classic PUTS stories that most haven't ever heard, the story of how Thes and Double K first met, and a little glimpse into the upcoming "10 Years of Thes One" box set.

This is only part one! There's always a lot to talk about when you get Thes and Odub going...part 2 coming soon...

AHHHH blocked at work. Lemme see if I can nab it with my iPhone...

EDIT: listening to it on my iPhone now, niiice. Like how they started the Knuckle Sandwich instro in the background. I'd love to actually have a copy of that instrumental sometime. Is it just me or does Thes One's voice sound a little different on this? Probably from MCing too much on the new album, haha.

Cool, I was always wondering what that verse was in the Outrage: "... for any Oliver mark-ass TWang, call up the homie Odub, said it's time to bring pain"... another corrected lyric for my (still unfinished) website collection (http://www.thepointoftherhyme.com/). I'll fix it tonight (probably).
