Basic one for ya... Any insight on how you guys arrived at Highlighter for the title of the album? The album lights your high.
The album has two sides, two parts:
High (1-10) & Lighter (11-20)
That is dope!

High as a giraffe!
I wish I had the appropriate routes to light my high to mark this wonderful occasion, lol.
I also have a question if Mean Spirited was actually written in Seattle or if the city had any influence on the song or if it was actually just for the melody?
Also I wanna say thanks for the good times, being the soundtrack to my life, providing music that relates to my everyday and makes me feel happy to be alive. You guys are the coolest most genuine artists around. Thank You!
I condone the go silent move when the album is ready. Watch the video first. Then put on some headphones and turn off all the lights. If you fall asleep during the last track, you will wake up tomorrow with a new outlook.

Hahaha, yeah, now that I'm awake, there's no way I'm going back to sleep. Normally I go to the gym at 5 which is in less than 2 hours... f that. I'm not leaving the house until some time after I've downloaded this and OD'd on highlighter.
Mean spirited is tribute to Kurt. yeah, seattle in the house.
Album, headphones, pitch black room. I endorse.
Thes, all I have to say is thank you and Mike for everything over the years. The music you guys have put out have gotten me through some of the lowest points and the highest. Here's towards many more highs though.
thes have you heard the 20th anniversary release of Nevermind yet? the unreleased Vig mixes are brilliant.

Got my HD 595s ready. Instructions will be followed!
Thes, so what song can we expect to see a video created for?
Thanks for the link Thes. Makes for some interesting reading. I see it's mpeg4 enabled players, not mp3 players that this works with which makes more sense. I think.
I don't have the album since the website is a little flaky right now so can't comment on the music. I think Thes posted (maybe on soulstrut) that the vinyl sounds even better. Probably not the place for an engineering type discussion but...
Surely at 48 bit 192khz mathematically you can 100% accurately encode any waveform you throw at it? I'm assuming you recorded digitally at these bit and sample rates. With vinyl all you are adding is a lower SNR? Or does it just sound different and more aesthetically pleasing, not necessarily higher fidelity?
The most important thing is still the music and by all accounts it's great so I can't wait to listen.
