Listening to the album now.... awesome!!! My ears have never experienced such quality... Sonically it immense!!! I dont post usually here. But been a P fan for a long while. Wanting a UK tour soon....

Not really seen much of Double before but he comes across as a very funny chap.Massive thanks to B and Thes for all there efforts last night...got there in the end...and I'm still recovering from my late finish and that Chocolate Stout amongst others!

Posts: 1Posted 14 years ago #Its taken me about 4 listens to realize this is truly a masterpiece. No one can truly appreciate new work from an artist when they first hear it or see it. It takes some time to sink in. When put in context to their work as a whole, even in context to their recent albums (which I loved), this is absolutely superb. The two extra tracks at the end make the several failed download attempts and almost additional week of waiting worthwhile. It was ok anyway, I just discovered the Colt 45 remix of Beer and Doc Delay's remix of Life's a Bitch, which carried me through most of the week
I've been a fan of PUTS ever since a friend of mine popped Question in the Form of an Answer into his car CD player almost ten years ago. Its gotten me through long hours of doing homework at college, and through many long drives and long days at work. This album even further cements my standing as a life long fan of the PUTS.
I have to agree with an earlier post that said they don't have a favorite song, this whole album is my favorite.

Posts: 584Posted 14 years ago #Wow you leave this thread for a day and the post just keep coming.....I had some friends over last night and was playing Highlighter for the 6th time that day and even my friends who aren't into hip hop were loving it!!! I know it's been said to death but it truly is a masterpiece from PUTS and the last 2 tracks just kill me. Hopefully all the work the PL70 street team have been laying down in the US and UK will ensure PUTS, Highlighter, the whole PUTS back catalog and PL70 get all the credit they deserve...and if you haven't already get those headphones and listen to the HD version....just incredible.

Question is hands down the most nostalgic album in the world to me. Me and my homie Krohne used to run up into parties on shrooms, with a boombox bumpin that sh!t. We made alot of P fans. Highlighter is flat out awesome. I woke up this morning excited to listen to it again. Props to the hardest working crew in showbiz, yall keep making albums, I'll keep preordering em..

I still haven't listened to the album all the much yet. I'm letting my memory carry me until I can get to it to transcribe. I've still only heard Ambien Hallway Music twice, for instance.funkyhomosapien said:

I don't have the flair that the P has. I think I tried to combine it with some off the wall thing like nine inch nails or Beck or something.

Only listened to it once so its difficult to say anything other than this is why we all love the P.I know after such a short time you can't really judge anything...but 'Talkin' To The Streets' is a stone cold classic already!
Proper respect to Thes and Double...and B...and eveybody else that worked on the making.
Can't wait for the vinyl...On a side note...I was messing around with my avatar last night...so you can now see the Chocolate stout.
We can only raise a glass a beer to the P...
