That song is not on the album, but it will be coming out soon.

What about the 2nd video - that piano track is dope as hell!

When there was a "Carried Away Snippets" YouTube video, I actually ripped the audio and put it on my iPod, and it made a cool-sounding commercial for Carried Away... I might do the same for that second video... maybe if I could find a way to remix in the first video, that'd be cool too.

But yeah... if they are releasing the first video as a track of some kind, I'd love to hear the second video too.

Even though I know PUTS aren't ringtone rappers, those joke 'tones for Carried Away were great. I might rip Ambien into a 'tone and set it for my when my lady calls or something. Maybe the sample from Ascension to Nowhere...

Hmm... I'm not sure this means "been there, done that;" that would imply "no longer doing." I see it more like a grocery list and crossing out the items they have. In other words, these are some of the ingredients that make up the PUTS sound.

Well, to be honest, I thought it meant that these aren't priorities to PUTS... Here are my points to back it up (all from the Fun DMC period):
- Funner Than Leather mixtape: "F*** the four elements"
- "Step Bacc": "we made six figures and we drank a lot of beer, so how is that underground?"
- "Critical Condition": "I don't care about your jazz loops or your ringtone bucks"

I can't be bothered to analyse tracks or anything, all I can say is that from the first listen up until now, I haven't been more excited by a P release than maybe since Stepfather, and even then I was still coming down off of OST / Or Stay Tuned (which is how I was introduced to the P), so I probably didn't appreciate Stepfather as much as I could, because on repeat listen it is def one of my favourites.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Fun DMC, Carried Away also... but in terms of a complete album...

...Highlighter is an ambitious, beautiful sounding release that sums up everything that is amazing about the P.

If OST / Or Stay Tuned (I consider them cojoined) are my favourite, I think Highlighter may even be up there with em, its early days, but I love it, and its def in the top 3 already.

Couldn't get some of the lyrics in both songs... in Tookie, I had a bit of trouble with Double K's references... any help?

Anyone notice the "The Facts of Life" reference in Uprock? ("Tootie and Blair"?)

And in Electric Tookie... did Thes seriously say "Coming on the servers like Hooters, 'take my order'"?? HAHAHAHAHA [X-D] Remind me not to take PUTS out to eat. Bros have trouble behaving themselves, for real. [:roll:]

Been listening this release from start to end, back and forth and what can I say.. 5/5 work! Every track work as individual but the whole ride from start to end is awesome. Very psyche and experimental plus they are having fun. P has put some major effort on this one. Its cool that they are using their own playing skills and other artists plus samples. Gives a nice "P-label" to the sound.

Perhaps this is a little cheeky given the LP has only just dropped, but any chance of another Thes One mixtape? Funnier than Leather still gets regular play over here..

Cheer Guerrilla...although I'd better wait for approvel before thinking about downloading it!

I'm really after a CD if copies are still around...or was it only released as a download?

Not big into downloads...I'm strictly Vinyl & CD...and Audio Cassette if needs be...yep, I'm that old...and yep, still got a working double tape deck player!

Thems were the days of proper mix tapes...

Downloading is for the younger generation...although of course I did download 'Highlighter'...just couldn't wait.
