3rd times the charm took 3 servers to get us our links just sitting at our computers watching it go 1 kb at a time. Now 3 accidents with the vinyl so its gonna be smooth sailing from here on out . 3/8 make it great. I was thinking it be cool if they had a 3rd times the charm poster to remember how much work was put into getting this album done and done right. We are all thankful to thes and double k for going above the call to make this a memorable album

I have a pair of these

They are pretty sweet.I just ordered a pair from amazon $50, free shipping. I'm crossing my fingers. I'm currently using an old pair of $30 sony over the ear cans. I bought a pair a higher end skull candy cans about a year ago and they fell apart (cracked on both sides and one ear would cut out). However, I now have a nice $70 keychain bottle opener out of the deal ( it came with the headphones; the phones in the trash). so I went back to the cheap sonys after that. I wear headphones for about 5-7 hours a day M-F at work.
I too picked up one of the record tour bags from pl70. I was kicking myself before when I didn't scoop one up earlier. nice to seem 'em available again
And to keep in on topic. I love highlighter. OST used to always be in the CD player in my car. Now it's highlighter in there. I'm now saying that it will stay that way. For me, OST will always be one of the greatest albums ever, but for these days...HIGHLIGHTER IS BOSS!

Hey guys, thanks so much for your patience and support - I'm sitting here in a Starbucks in Eugene, OR getting back to everyone regarding their orders - for those who may not have received Thes' note, we used the email address that you gave us when paying, which may be different from the address you use for everyday email, especially for those who paid via Paypal (I know a lot of people use alternate emails or have old emails on file for such accounts).
We were really stressed on Tuesday night trying to figure out what to do, and I can't even begin to describe how many hours and tanks of gas both of us have burned through just trying to get this sorted out. Pressing vinyl is always tricky, but this has been truly insane. Just to clarify, the issue here has been the pressing plant, which is a different company from the one who printed the album artwork and sleeves - that company has been great to us, and while most often the printing causes the delay for vinyl releases, this time it's the actual pressing plant.
If you have any questions about your order, please email us directly at orders@pl70.net - I know things have been hectic, but you have our word that we won't stop until all of you get what you paid for - a handmade gatefold double LP of the highest quality possible.

Cheers B, you don't know as fans just how much we appreciate all the effort your all putting in...not only to get the LP out...but also the constant updates. You just don't get this from anywhere else in the dirty music business these days.
Also, the longer it's delayed, the more orders I keep putting in...which is good all round.
I'm still missing a couple of albums on cd (for the car), so get ready for the e-mail...! -

I think as has already been said many times we are cool with it and appreaciate all the effort you guys are constantly putting in to keep us updated. I can't imagine the stress you've had over the last few months but for us the finished product has been worth it and i know the vinyl, t-shirts, cd's etc etc will also be more than worth any wait. So i can only echo what has already been said on this forum time and time again and that is thank you PUTS for Highlighter, Thanks for the quality products, thanks for the updates and i am sure Thes, Double K and the PL70 crew know you will always have our support. Peace.

Got my signed CD with stickers #4 & #5 (three of each), scan-codes, and postcards. Woo hoo! Looking forward to the LP.
If two other people have extras of anything OTHER than 4 and 5, and you need 4 and 5, PM me, and we can mail 'em to each other. It's worth the stamp, y'all.

Well...after a trip up and down the M1 (which the UK heads will know is depressing as f***...especially with out sh!t weather), I've managed to listen to Highlighter in full properly...twice. And only the P could lighten up any drive on that concrete monster.
So...it just gets better...it's different...but as Thes has pointed out...you get older and sh!t happens.
'Talkin' Back To The Streets' really is a classic...'Too Much Birthday' keeps on getting better, and 'Ascension To Nowhere' strikes a chord...for me at least.
On a side note...my copy of 'Lifestyle Marketing' turned up today...and what an LP. How can you not love those beats...

I've emailed them twice about shipping for orders and gotten nothing in almost a week. I know they're slammed so I'm just trying to remain patient. I have like 4 orders with PL70 right now including my Highlighter vinyl.......can't wait to see it spinning, all in due time.....*continues to listen to Highlighter digital*

Regarding shipping: I know a lot of you (who ordered the vinyl/bomb combo) also recieved shipping notices last week. Brendan can probably confirm my guess that this simply means that the labels were printed (and USPS has therefore been notified about the upcoming shipments)?
Even if everything runs smoothly with the new pressing plant I'd assume we're looking at a late November/early December release for the vinyl. (The end of the year is the busy season for most pressing plants, too...) Also Thes and Double are on the road right now bringing the music straight to cats live on stage.
Good things come to those that wait

So im just catching up on new deadliest catch and the most recent episode i had, the sample Thes used from andy hillstrand for the opener to ambien hallway music is taken from it, (Episode: I smell a nightmare) Now i knew the sample was deadliest catch, but didnt realise how recent, how did Thes manage to get the sample and produce it so quick? Im in the UK and this screened last week, when does it screen in the USA? Just out of curiosity? Its nothing serious but just how far behind is the UK?
Peace

Woah, that IS quick. I'm guessing that the US airs things considerably sooner than UK, but still... Way to be updated, Thes... Didn't he pull the same thing on Carried Away with The Office's "Money Beets"?mambo7891 said:
