Depsite the wait, I've still not had the glorious wax on the deck yet!
Busy as sh!t tonight getting ready for Christmas (what an old man...this is what happens when you get kids!), but I'm gonna force the issue and listen to a few tracks at least.
I'm waiting for the perfect time for a 'front-to-back', and have even picked out the drink for the occasion (sadly, sparkin' up is a thing of the past these days...).

Posts: 81Posted 14 years ago #Had my first full coverage of the entire Highlighter vinyl and it is BOSS! My homie just finished brewing his own beer and being PUTS fans that we are the vinyl spun on the needle while we sat back sipped and lit up...nothing can beat that. Considering the fact that I finished another successful semester at school and having the vinyl waiting at my doorsteps after the grueling finals week and long awaited anticipation I must say the wait was beyond worth it. Hope everyone else is enjoying theirs just as much!

Posts: 1,879Posted 14 years ago #I've gotta say, the way that this album was put together, from the CD to the Vinyl, is truly impressive. I can't remember a group putting this much effort and thought into the aesthetic feel of an album since Pearl Jam released Vitalogy(and they are backed with all the money EPIC can spend)... which was specifically packaged to emulate the old ways of doing things when Vinyl was king. I am going to have a really tough time dropping a needle on that beautiful record... What a beautiful problem to have!

It's been a minute since I've been on this forum but I had a bit of a problem with the wax and am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of someone who can help. The package arrived and an excited me jumped up to retrieve it, only to see the below lying on my doorstep... Still got to rock the tee but I'm not even going to attempt playing these plates now. Gutted is not the word...
I tried to email the person I'd had contact with before, but haven't had an answer yet. Don't want the wax to sell out before I can sort this! I heard there had been a 'reshuffle' of staff at Piecelock though (I seem to remember a message from Thes saying loads of emails had gone unanswered?) so am wondering if someone has any better contact info for me???
