I wish I had the Noonen one though, I'm a huge fan of 'Noonen' and 'Yacht Club'... crazy huge... Thes is a little cheese on D'Nunzio, though, haha

Posts: 153Posted 15 years ago #Hey Sac, didn't you have issues with your Carried Away LP? I got mine in the mail yesterday, mint (still sealed) and the second plate has a really tight spindle hole. I was able to clean out some of the residual vinyl that wasn't fully cut off, but its still tight. It plays fine on my normal turntable but when I put it on my Numark portable it makes it slow down to an unplayable speed. Makes me a little disappointed in Om, but incredibly thankful that the P are going so far out of their way to make sure Highlighter is just all around perfect!

I think I remember the hole being a little tight, but my main issue was a pressing issue that (if I remember correctly) was on All Good Things. It skipped at one point. If you can listen thru the whole album with a smooth playback, then you didn't get one of the early, damaged pressings. You're probably good. Let us know what happens!JappyJohn said:

plus the edge of the first record is chipped, its just on the run in so it doesn't effect playback, but its still damaged.

I'm working on getting every LP, then every 12", then every 45...and so on..Just bought the slipmats since I saw they were back in stock.....jeez. PL70 should just start garnishing my paycheck in exchange for PUTS LOL
