I just recorded the audio off the menu... I got 5 beats total... I think I liked the Ice Castle 2001 menu beat the most... History of the P and Sideproject Videos are also pretty cool.

Sometimes I wish I had a vinyl-cutter next to my computer, and I could just bust out some wax at any time. Like those DVD menu beats. Start scratchin' it up... Or my wife comes in the room and I put her down on wax and play back what she just said to her, but put it over a beat and cut it up.

Or even know a guy who could cut you some beats with low costs. Or save a few grand for vestax vinyl vrx-2000 . I've seen them go for like 2000 e at lowest.

Yeah that's the thing. It is not that good I have heard though!

Haha, that's what I need! Get out my old school Casio keyboard with the little drum pads, turn on the record cutter, and rock my own beat... then make some dirty dubs, and cut it up with the cross-fader.Loudwon said:

So, I was thinking about Thes' 2009 Holiday beat tape, and I gotta say... a PUTS holiday album would be fresh... if James Brown could do A Soulful Christmas...
I actually had a brainstorm... you know that fade-in strings intro to Los Angeles Daze?? Imagine some sleigh bells on top of that (*shing shing shing shing*... you know)... boom, that's the holiday album opener.
And of course, you gotta have some audio of Double and Thes at the start of a track opening some presents:
*paper tearing* "Einstein got me a UD hoodie... oh man, I think he knitted it himself..."
*more paper tearing* "YoYoPo got us a case of Arrogant Bastard... dope... dope..."
*rip rip* "Those hippie dudes gave us some tabs with snowflakes on 'em... just toss that sh*t man..."
*paper...* "Got some purp from Murs"
*skkrch skkrch* "Uh, Thes... this one's for you from Busy Bee... I opened it accidentally..." "Yo, Dub, you took a bite out of my BBQ chicken sandwich?""... and SactownConnection made us a holiday card out of wide-ruled binder paper and crayons... and gave us a $5 Target gift card... psssh, that dude's wack."

That vinyl cutter is bloody expensive! Better to just get a few dubplates cut at £50 a throw.

I'd send them some Smoked Ribs from my local Hy-Vee

Can you do me a favor when you get "Other Such Tracks", GUERRILLA? Please let me know what the "Intro" and "Outro" tracks are... I think someone mentioned that they are the two skits on the Back on the Block record, but I'm not sure which order they are in and if it's the full skit. Thanks, man!djGUERRILLA said:

Yea, like Saakki said, its just the hidden tracks from the OG vinyl. The intro is a shortened version (I think its shorter, I'll have to check the vinyl later) of the OG Undadog and Double K track, and the outro is the same weird singing "Freeze in the Name of the Law...a hum hum hummmm". It's basically the tracks from that OG "Back on the Block Remix" wax plus "The Trip" and its instrumental.
