Posted 20 years ago #Vending Machines in Japan are so awesome, where else can you dedicate a tag to your favorite hip-hop group, and go buy a beer after your done! Maybe not that one, but I like the idea. . .
Did anybody catch Transporter 2? Can anybody say "Hoot!"? -

excellent, its like representing the gladiator (being the stae of hip hop) fighting against the rest. Being tooken down from command and then fighting his way to the top, But i hope MF DOOM doesnt end up like in the movie :-? -
Posted 20 years ago #no sh!t^^ that would be terrible. I caught the Transporter 2. For what it is, it's dope as f***. I think Jason Statham is da sheit. That character is f**king ill. The acting by some of the others in the movie was B quality and some of the stunts were a bit extreme(the tracer on the car, a f***ing corkscrew in mid air
). But nontheless I like it, oh and the Audi being shot to peices, yet remin flawless and pristine
. It's all good though, I enjoyed it thoroughly. -
Posted 20 years ago #I personally stopped relying on film realism when Jackie Chan started using wires rather than retiring. It takes me back to the days of First Blood, Army of Darkness, and The Guyver live-action movies where I couldn't even fathom the reality, but the pure action of it is what keeps the crowds glued to the screen.
I think DOOM would rather melt into obscurity before getting boned by Ceasar. (Who would be DOOM's Ceasar anyways?) -
Posted 20 years ago #The Rock starring in the DOOM movie? I almost spit up when I saw the preview for this, but the fact they'll be putting parts of it in 1st Person may make this movie worth watching; anybody else heard anything about this?

Zev-Love X in 1st person would be a very crazy movie concept, but yes; DOOM the game what I was getting at; the classic FPS (besides Golden-eye and those who keep the cartridges next to the wax). In the preview, they have Rock saying something, then it cuts to a First-person shot with the Chainsaw and some ugly thing I can't remember the name of; DOOM (Game, not Rapper) fanatics will enjoy this one. -
Posted 20 years ago #Yah i saw a trailer for this & it looks pretty dope...kool concept at least! You can check it here http://media.filmforce.ign.com/media/490/490104/vids_1.html
Looks like I might have to eat some Scoobs for this one...hehehe

Currently, I'm trippin' on (but these are by no means my favorites):
Vertigo (Hitchcock film from the 50s)
Duck, You Sucker! (Sergio Leone film made after the "Man With No Name" Trilogy)
Night of the Hunter (Charles Laughton film from way back in the day)
Aliens (director's cut) (HORRIBLE Marines dialogue, but the last 90 minutes are seriously a thrill ride)
Inception (just thought I'd put a newer one in here, haha... thought it was interesting, most def)
