Alright, there are now TWO interviews posted off the main page of my site (on the left-hand side): http://www.thepointoftherhyme.com/index.htm

The first is the San Francisco pre-show interview, with questions relating to rhyme-writing, and then an after-show chat session.

The second is the new Oakland interview, done at the very end of the night (from 1:56 a.m. 'til 2:45 a.m.) with random questions from me and some questions I collected by forum members.

This one's a little more choppy because Double K is really tipsy, Thes' voice was a little hoarse and he was still amped from the show, and the aforementioned "oddball guy" kept saying weird sh*t (he stopped after a while). Regardless, there's a minimum of redaction, and it should still be a nice, dynamic read. They argue for a while (but it's all in fun, and it's pretty funny), they get really serious, and they even get quizzed on their own stuff at the end by me (and do really well).

Let me know what you think, peoples.

Also, just to reiterate from the "Lyrics link..." thread, my website only has four things left to be completed: Funner Than Leather, The El Rey DVD, the L.A. Mike mixtape, and the "About PUTS + Timeline" YouTube page (that last one'll probably take awhile). (EDIT: this paragraph said "five", but I just got the "Finding Bin Laden" YouTube clip posted, so that's FOUR things left to do.)

Good sh!t man. That oddball guy seemed really f**king' annoying... haha.

Loved the story about Gabba and wish I could have been there for the impromptu acapella "Beer" performance.

Nice work Sac - just had a quick skim, and will read in full later.

Not a fan of Hops then!
Still, that's the US all over...hops...hops...and more hops.

My current avatar is of a 'Chestnut' ale...they should be trying that sh!t.

YoYoPo - you got any cntacts at the Jazz Cafe?
Looks like we'll have to do so some ground work to get them over here...

Totally missed the boat on the Blu and Kendrick Lamar collaborations. Still think a song or two would sound dope. Michael McDonald! That needs to happen lol

The Yo Gabba Gabba story is hilarious.

Yo! Once again great job dude. Still reading it. Had to post because I realized that you mentioned me on the interview. Thanks and respect from Finland! The "Hops-talk" is killing me! Should buy you a keg of beer and send it to you What the hell..is that new album name -talk for real too? Damn!

Haha, thanks a lot, homies. Yeah, it was a funny-*ss convo for a while there. And that random guy was annoying as f*ck.

When sending beer to Thes One at Piecelock, remember: NO HOPS! Haha.

Yeah, they came THIS close to telling me the name of album #9, which I guess they've already picked out. Oh, and I didn't record this, but Double K told a joke at one point earlier in the night, and he and Thes thought it was so funny that they considered it as a title for album #10, but they swore me to secrecy on it, haha.

Yeeeeeaaaaahhh, me too, man. When I heard that, I almost dropped my mic/phone. Om can't even give one of their ex-artists a copy of the music that made them money (and is STILL making them money)? F*ck Om for that.

It's funny that the only things I'm missing of theirs now (the Om singles with OG covers) are the things that are in short supply for Thes too... I better start snatching 'em up when I can.

also, PUTS and MGMT would be a dope collaboration. they would fit right in with the psychedelic vibe of highlighter...

YES!!!!! Cheers yet again Sactown, cant believe you got so many questions in! Gotta love the chat about hops, chavs and MGMT! Would be a sweeeeet sounding collaboration!

I think what Thes said about getting PUTS to your area will be the best bet... Ima start a thread just to see what happens actually!

Also really feeling Thes on how some music is perfect for one location but just doesn't work anywhere else.

Just enjoying a 'Powerfully Hopped' IPA from St Austell brewery...don't think Thes would appreciate it...but it's a lovely ale...although certainly not a session beer due to it weighing in at 5.5%...
