I have always wanted to get involved in stocks but have never had the confidence to jump in. I'm just too uninformed as to how to invest

mistertibbs, i have found my equal! A man who loves his ales as much as me to buy shares in a company. Gotta be honest, the marketing side of brewdog is top, they have really got a stylised product and i like how their sticking 2 fingers up at the snobbery that is so often associated with beer drinking but... i dont really like the taste of it. Its not bad by any means, im just not a big enough fan to buy shares. I hope they do well tho, would be nice to go into more establishments and have a wider choice of ales. And prehaps i wont keep getting called an "old gitg" coz i dont drink rubbish lager. (I do like lager tho, red stripe FTW, i jus love beer more. lol)

First time for me this...but to be honest there's not much too it other than to buy your shares and have confidence...I think the confidence is the key, as it was easy to part with the money for these as I fully believe it's a good investment.

It's not my favourite ale either, but I've only had a few of them including the 18% Tokyo!
Still got x2 bottles of the Tokyo left, and I'd say it's a cross between stout and port...so certainly not an everyday brew...but it has its own charm.
Be interesting to hear Thes and Double's thoughts if they ever try it...
I just think it's worth getting involved...and when they open some bars in England 'll be able to go in and drink to my own health...and wealth!
Don't get me wrong...there's nothing wrong with a decent lager every now and again, especially on a red hot day...and if I lived in LA then I can only assume I'd drink more lager than I do.
However, don't get me started on Bud...that has to be the shittest drink money can buy...and it is f***ing everywhere in the US.

Lol, budweiser is alright, i REFUSE to drink: Fosters, Carling, Stella Artois, Calsberg or any of the other shite drinks!!!! Good for you supporting a brewrey, frankly, £95 investment is too steep for me right now butr may consider in january....
Just finished a 2500 word essay for university so sitting back wit a bottle of waggle dance (wells and young) and some QITFOA for a little change!

I just finished a 50-page, 2-year thesis for my Masters program, so I'm thinking I need to get a CASE of something, and see if I can't drink myself under the table by 8 o' clock tonight... of course, if I'm gonna do that, only one P album will do... 
Eh, maybe I'll take it easier than that, though... gotta pace myself... I'm thinking a large pesto-mushroom pie from the local pizza joint and an old comedy... "Coming To America" or "Men At Work", maybe... or maybe... just maybe... Metroid marathon!
Still, I wouldn't mind going all out this weekend and waking up on Monday morning in a puddle of Captain Morgan's and coke (the soda, y'all...) with three or four naked ladies passed out around me (hopefully, one of them is my wife) with a roll of Trojan Magnum packets wrapped around my neck like a lei and a barbequed chicken leg in one hand, a game controller in the other, a lit Swisher stuffed up one nostril, and a big foam cowboy hat on.

@Tibbs I've been hovering over the brewdog shares every payday for the last 2 months. I agree, this brewery is going places just not been able to afford to get involved (I spend too much on their product!)
What discount do you get in their bars and on their site for being a shareholder?

HAHA! Yeah sactown, sounds goooood! While i enjoy the herb, i also enjoy the beer and sometimes i just prefer to stick to one narcotic. 
Well done on the Theisis, im almost considering a masters myself if i do well in university, i REALLY want to go travelling found the world and am starting to get impatient. lol.

Thanks, man. Definitely do some traveling if you've got the time/money to do so. Once you plant those roots and have kids and everything, it'll be a lot harder. I'm still regretting not having done, at the very least, a full Europe tour.mambo7891 said:
