You know, I was actually giving that some serious thought.

The ONLY thing I worry about is that (usually) college guest lectures are considered part of the cost for the course, so I would hope that I wouldn't be breaking some kind of weird infringement law or something. Probably not, but still...

I probably am going to transcribe it anyway and even if I don't post it on tPotR, I'll post it here for members...

Side note: I was also thinking about starting to comment on all the PUTS songs that people are posting on YouTube with the lyrics pages for each track to get more interest going in my site and possibly funnel people through to PL70 to buy the albums (I might put iTunes links up for all the albums too). Anything I can to get hip hop cats buying something instead of just browsing.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Haha, it's all good. I'm a friggin' chatterbox, though, so it doesn't mean as much as it probably should. I still give it up to 'Po for comin' with the QUALITY posts (can I get a Cut Chemist "quality" sample in here?) and for creating these boards in the first place. I'll never defeat the master...

Anyway, I'm actually bored on lunch today at work, so I've already transcribed the first... *looks down at his iPod*... uh... 1:08 of the 1:20:52 lecture... haha... give me a few days.

So, I've transcribed the first 19 minutes already (1 hour, 3 minutes left to go) in about 4 hours, and it's already six single-spaced pages worth of large paragraphs. Wooooooo. If I keep going at this rate, it'll take me about 12-14 more hours to finish up. and probably be about 24 pages!

back on topic, this lecture is awesome, thanks for posting it up! Did I gather that Newman was there - is he teaching now? Are you teaching now!?
Was interesting to hear Thes spontaneously bring up a comparison with "William" and relationship with Mac Miller etc, had a lot of discussion on here recently too

Anyway, I JUST (about a minute or two ago) got done with the lecture transcription, and it's 24 pages in Word (12-pt Times New Roman, single spaced), so when I get home tonight, I'll turn it into an HTML and post it on the website like my interview transcripts.

I'm still wondering if I should make it free-access to the public, or if I should keep it a "forum secret". I don't want the U of Oregon telling me that I shared a lecture that other people had to pay to see or something, you know?
